Agriturismo Pereti
Our farm, called AGRITURISMO PERETI is ideal for people looking for a change and wanting to immerse in nature. Tuscany is known for its countryside, and we are fortunate to live in such an unspoiled environment. We built alternative structures on our property, and some maybe be open to our volunteers to stay there.
We are an easy going family with two children, one dog, one cat, and 30 or so chickens. Our setting is very very rural and far from the city buzz. If you are a city boy/girl, you will not find the comfort of the city life. The closest village is 5 K away. The closest big city 30 K away. The closest village is 5 K away.
We are a bit different. We like yoga, meditation, walks in nature, biking (mostly Gaia and the kids). We enjoy socializing, but we also cherish (and respect) quiet time and privacy. Both for ourselves and for others.
Our volunteers are not professionals, so we understand that there will be learning curve to understand all the tasks. Our volunteers are treated with kindness and respect. We understand that this is not a paid position. We love meeting young people who are full of enthusiasm, eagerness to learn new things and making new, perhaps life lasting connections.

Gaia is an incredibly respectful and accommodating host! He is very easy to communicate with, very fair and willing to compromise. He is also an excellent cook (ask him about the chickpeas…)
As a young woman I felt completely safe the whole time, and I got to have some truly incredible experiences.
Thank you so much, Gaia. I had the most lovely time on your property. Give Dori and Shanti (dog and cat) hugs for me!

Volunteering at Agriturismo Pereti was such a beautiful and unforgettable experience. The peaceful surroundings and the connection with nature make it the perfect place to be. Gaia is an incredibly kind and welcoming host who makes you feel at home right away and Dori and Shanti, the sweetest dog and cat add even more warmth to the place. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there. A piece of my heart will always stay at Pereti, it's a truly special place I'll never forget.

Definitely one of the best experiences of my life! The place is magical, with a lot of nature and a unique energy. All done with great care and affection by the host Gaia, which makes it even more special. I recommend it to everyone!

Great opportunity to meet new people and practice English in very beautiful places. But the work was really hard physically, mostly connected with cleaning with cleaning of guests houses which was not what I expected. Anyway, the experience was interesting and useful

You are right, in August, most of our work is centered around servicing our guests - cleaning rooms, cooking and serving food. Besides that you were also doing many other tasks, like taking care of our plants, and chickens. I believe I made you aware before you came what to expect. I had the most amazing time here. Gaia was the most amazing host, he was so respectful of working hours, took us for pizza, ice cream and to the lake, he was always clear about what was expected of us and was also a lovely person to talk to. Dori and Chante are also the cutest pets ever. I highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a place to disconnect and relax and it will always hold a special place in my heart :)
