L'expérience

Help care for rescued dogs and cats at Albania’s first private shelter in Vlorë. Tasks may include feeding, cleaning kennels, bathing animals, socializing shy dogs, and simple maintenance or gardening. Vet experience is welcome but not required. You’ll stay in our on-site volunteer house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s a chance to experience “Bread, Salt, and Heart”, the Albanian slogan for loyalty and hospitality.

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Welcome to our animal rescue shelter in the beautiful coastal city of Vlorë!

We care for 85 rescued dogs and 2 cats who come from the streets, abusive situations, or abandonment. Our mission is to give them safety, love, and a second chance at life.

We are looking for kind-hearted, responsible, and motivated volunteers who want to make a real impact while living close to the sea and enjoying Albanian hospitality.

Once a week we prepare a shared community dinner together — a great moment for connection, fun, and cultural exchange.
