Bring your creative eye to our vibrant homestay! We need a marketing/social media savvy volunteer to capture our teaching and community (3 hrs-5 evenings/week). In return, get free accommodation, 3 meals a day & drinks! Your days are completely free to explore nearby beaches, use one of our several sport facilities, or relax in local cafes. It's the perfect work-travel balance! All while getting an authentic experience of local life in Vietnam!

Welcome to our vibrant homestay and language school in Vietnam! We're inspired by the power of connection and community, which is why we're building a strong online presence to share our story. We're seeking a creative Marketing & Social Media Volunteer to help us capture the essence of daily life here and what we are about as a language centre trying to teach our students a vital skill that can help them have more opportunities in later life!

We have opened this position with the aims of growth on this platform amongst our other social media platforms. You'll be documenting the joyful atmosphere of our classes, the camaraderie among our teachers and volunteers, and the beautiful local surroundings. Your work will directly contribute to attracting more volunteers like yourself, enhancing our school's social media channels, and providing valuable marketing materials to reach more Vietnamese students. We've been operating as a school since 2022, and while we've previously hosted volunteers via Instagram, we're excited to expand our community through Worldpackers.

In your free time, you are encouraged to explore our charming town, with sport facilities like a gym, pickleball courts and sports centre and some nature like our beaches and mountains (all within a scooter ride away). Immerse yourself in authentic Vietnamese life – from enjoying rich Vietnamese coffee to sharing some beers and food with local people!

Activités et horaires

Your main responsibility will be to capture the essence of our homestay and school through compelling photos and short videos. This includes:

- Documenting Teaching Moments: Taking engaging photos and videos of our teachers and volunteers interacting with students during classes.

- Capturing Volunteer Life: Highlighting the day-to-day experiences, interactions, and fun activities of volunteers at our homestay.

- Creating Marketing Content: Producing visual assets for our social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook) and for future advertising campaigns targeting Vietnamese students.

You'll be working for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, specifically in the evenings from 5:15 PM to 8:30 PM. This schedule ensures you capture the vibrant evening class atmosphere while leaving your entire days completely free to explore and enjoy. Should you find anything outside of class hours has been worth capturing you can also use this time to edit and create materials with that stuff too!

Our class schedules are flexible, and the exact classes you'll be documenting may shift depending on the day. Your creativity in finding engaging moments to capture will be highly valued!
