Located in historic Haarlem, 20 mins from Amsterdam, Hello I’m Local is a cozy hostel with only 20 rooms! Join my team to help with housekeeping & nightwatch. You'll share a spacious room (private toilet/shower) withup to 6 international volunteers. Hang out in my café or two patios, and get a grocery stipend for group meals. My small team is here to help you call Hello I'm Local your home!

Ce que vous recevez

2 jours de congé par semaine

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Dîner: Vous avez droit à un dîner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Réductions dans les Restaurants: Obtenez des réductions dans les restaurants à proximité.

Détails du programme

As a volunteer at Hello you receive:
 - Shared accommodation with 5 other volunteers
 - Weekly grocery budget
 - Free wifi
 - Free laundry
 - Free barista coffee/espresso/etc from our cafe!

For accommodation, you would be sharing a dorm-style room in the hostel with up to five other volunteers who you will be working with - there is a toilet and shower in the room, as well as a fridge, storage space, and some areas for you to relax. Of course, you also have access to the hostel common areas - two patios and a full cafe.

For meals we provide a grocery budget to the group each week so they can plan their meals together! Typically, the budget covers up to two meals per day for each person, but it depends on how creative you are with your cooking! 

You receive all of this in exchange for working a maximum of 30 hours per week on housekeeping, in the cafe or kitchen, or as our nightwatch. The schedule allows for a minimum of two days off per week - usually more! 

Activités et horaires

We have two types of shifts at Hello I'm Local. One is Hostel Support - during the day you will help my housekeeping team in the rooms, or help my reception team in the cafe or kitchen. The other shift is Nightwatch - you will be my go-to person for any late check-ins or guests who are locked out of their rooms.
