Great first-time volunteering experience! Stuart and Faye are amazing hosts. I felt right at home and really enjoyed the environment of the guesthouse where I've met so many nice people. The location is stunning. We enjoyed morning swims in January and had plenty of time to explore the island. There were sometimes optional additional things we would help out with which was met with great appreciation and was fair for what they offered. The work itself is straightforward, can be sometimes physically demanding on busier days, but all was as discussed beforehand. Totally recommend!

My experience at this volunteer was amazing, the location is very quiet, beautiful, and surrounded by nature, which makes it perfect if you're looking for peace. The work itself is very easy and well-organized, nothing stressful at all depends on the day and how many check outs you have. Stuart and Faye are incredibly kind and they truly care about you, always making sure you're comfortable. The guests are also very friendly which makes the whole atmosphere even nicer. I definitely recommend this place, and I would absolutely come back:) thank you for everything!🤗

I loved my time at the hostel.Life! Seixal is such a beautiful village with natural pools where you can pretend to be a mermaid, a gorgeous beach and some great places to eat and drink. Stuart and Faye are amazing hosts, they were so generous and made things fun! The first week I was setting up for opening, and then once we were opened the jobs were more cleaning and housekeeping. It was all pretty straightforward and the guest house is such a nice place to live! Only thing to be aware of is that it can be difficult to get around other parts of the hostel, so budget some money aside for Bolts!

Working with Stuart was amazing! He is a really great host and communicated amazingly. The island is beautiful and really cool to experience. Definitely need to budget for rides or hitchhike places!!
