I had a great time up there with sterling and his family. The Property itself is amazing, it has the most amazing view of antigua and its surroundings you will ever get. The work hours are fair as you only have to work 3 hours per day and you can decide if you want to this in the morning of afternoon. The work is varied as one day you just have to play and walk the dogs and the other you might have to help his workers build a closet.

The experience is cool. It's a quiet place outside, so you have an incredible view of the city and can take a great break from travelling. Plus, you can always play with the cute dogs because they never get tired. Free avocados included. Sterling can sometimes take you into town and gave us good tips for chess. However, everything is very dusty, so be prepared to get dirty. Also, it's not just tasks with the dogs, but also construction tasks. The work assignments are freely selectable. If you're prepared to be in the middle of nowhere and get very dirty and like giant dogs, you'll like it. :)

I had an amazing time here ! Dani and Sterling are great and super kind hosts, who make you feel really welcomed. They offered help whenever or with whatever - also if not asking for. I took care of the two super cute dogs Eco & Drax, what I highly enjoyed. Working hours and tasks are flexible. It's an amazing place for connecting with nature, enjoying walks at the foot of vulcano agua and enjoying the most amazing views of vulcano fuego and acatenango (seriously you get never tired of it). I loved my stay here !

I had a great time at the project with Sterling and his Crew. I felt verry welcome and had a lot of time for myself. I took care about the to lovely dogs and explored the beautiful nature at the vulcano. I was able to calm down after a few weeks in the city - it was amazing!

I ended up leaving a week before, because the experience wasn't something for me. Still I had a great time, and I leaned a lot about myself while being there. The host is nice, the workers are nice, so if you like to have a lot of time by yourself, this place is great!

Si bien el primer día fue algo duro porque el lugar aún está en construcción entonces no tienes muchas "comodidades", el tiempo ahí me ayudó a desarrollar mi creatividad y conectar con la naturaleza, el lugar tiene una muy linda vista del volcán de Fuego y Acatenango, lindo atardecer y amanecer 🌄 y mucho canto de aves 🐦 😊 si necesitas algo Sterling puede ayudarte llevándolo desde la ciudad o llevarte a ella, además las personas que están trabajando en la construcción del lugar son de la zona entonces es una buena oportunidad para conocer la cultura porque son muy amables y simpáticos.

This stay was a much needed escape from the hustle bustle to truly disconnect and reflect on my growth from my travels. Going off grid without power is a great opportunity to reflect, journal, read, and be present within a gorgeous landscape. All possible with the very reasonable hours + responsibilities. Sterling is a very chill, well traveled guy to get to know and I met many awesome people while here. He also gave amazing suggestions for the area that I would not have found myself. As the project grows, opportunities here will only become more fun and cozy! Cute animal friends to love too!

I stayed there for 3 weeks and it was a true experience. I was working with some locals and got introduced to their culture and lifestyle! The work is hard and challenging, but it's really worth it!! A lot of construction work but you also can do some own projects. I also had to care about two puppies and two cats, so nice. The place is still in the build up phase, so don't expect that much Infrastructure. But the host will take care of you, if you need anything. Nice place to stay, I highly recommend it, but be fast the puppies won't be puppies forever.

It was definitely a nice experience ! The environment was beautiful with the scenery of volcanos. We can also enjoy the grassland and endless níspero ! We woke up early and there were so many birds around us. The work of cleaning plants and small construction were interesting. After this experience, I learnt more about the skill of taking care plants. I would recommend this volunteering to people who like nature and ready to do some physical work ! :)

Nous avons passé un séjour dans un cadre exceptionnel. L'endroit, bien que isolé, offre une vue à couper le souffle sur la nature magnifique environnante. Les conditions d'hébergement étaient rudimentaires et cela a pu être rude par moments. Nous avons eu la chance de travailler aux côtés d'ouvriers guatémaltèques très sympathiques. Leur accueil a rendu notre travail plus agréable, malgré parfois des tâches physiques exigeantes. Cette simplicité nous a permis de nous concentrer sur l'essentiel et d'apprécier pleinement l'environnement naturel qui nous entourait.
