Help us with the English language socialising and events. We need you to run pub crawls, quiz nights, free walking tours, games nights and pool parties. We have a max of 6 volunteers at one time. Pub crawls and pool parties are the bigger days whilst the other events are easier and only take up a few hours (see below).

Your room will be a same sex dorm (same sex floors here!), good quality huge bed, massive locker, personal fan, plug socket, shelf, reading light, privacy curtain all the way round the bed! Quality is very high here, with everything. Free buffet breakfast and a staff dinner at a restaurant around the corner!

We are now only taking on volunteers with experience running pub crawls or hostel events. The longer term volunteers will be favoured for positions.

Activités et horaires


Pub crawls we'll need all volunteers to help. An hour of of selling the crawl at check in time (don't worry it's a great deal and sells itself) and then a good 5+ hours on the crawl in the evening. You don't have to drink but if you do then there's a lot of free drinks for you!

Quiz nights I need one volunteer running it, ideally 1 or 2 playing, but this is an easy one for a volunteer to have off. Games night same, very easy, start a pool comp, play foosball, chess, uno, beer pong...2-3 hours generally. Both of these events we tend to take guests to town after (200M away!) and get them settled in a bar with a drinks deal.

Pool Parties are every Sunday. We label them pool party in high season and pool social in low season (marketing and expectations etc.). Pool and bar is open late, can be chill or really wild!

Walking tours are only for the long term reps - will give a nice break from the pub crawls. The tour is set out but it's not worth training anyone who is here for a month. It's a 3 hour tour.

1 full day off a week which would be on a quiz, games, walking tour day. We coordinate between us on a WhatsApp group, head volunteer will help arrange and I'll step in if it can't be figured out.

Whilst this is a super fun social role, we need volunteers to contribute. Quality from short term reps has been low with many volunteers causing me more trouble than helping. So that's why it's a month minimum. The owners are nice, kind people and they couldn't care less about giving away some beers and a free bed. But they expect people to want to contribute. Please be aware you'll be fired if you're just in it for a free ride.

No drugs, have good intentions, no sex in the hostel, do your hours. ZERO TOLERANCE with any of these. Usual hostel rules apply and these have to be signed. One month minimum stay but longer volunteers favoured.
