We are looking for volunteers to help us out this summer and fall with maintaining our gardens. Our coliving space is curated for digital nomads to escape the urban hustle and bustle. We invite you to experience this refuge as well, while contributing to our mission of minimal environmental impact by maintaining our own food system. Compost, chicken coop, food garden, and peaceful relaxation garden are all in need of your support.

Montant: € 50 Par semaine

Description: The location of our coliving is quite remote and far from grocery stores. We cook and eat communally, the owner coordinates our shopping lists for the week and purchases the groceries for the house. Paying guests pay a fee of €70 and volunteers pay a reduced fee of €50 per week. This fee includes all food/groceries for the week and other supplies (oil, dish washing soap, trash bags, gas for the drive to the store, propane for the stove/oven etc.)

Ruralco appeals to digital nomads, remote workers, nature-lovers, teams, and creatives looking for a unique work-life balance. A key part of this lifestyle is our connection to nature and commitment to sustainability.

We are seeking experienced volunteers to help us cultivate and maintain our gardens while contributing to the growth of our garden systems. This includes tending to our vegetable and herb gardens, caring for our relaxation spaces, and assisting in the creation of new sustainable infrastructure. While we have big dreams for our land, we still need help bringing them to life—particularly in building out our composting system and chicken coop.

You will have the opportunity to work with us to shape these projects based on seasonal needs, your skills, and creative ideas. Whether you have experience in gardening, permaculture, or sustainable design—or simply a willingness to learn—we invite you to take part in this hands-on experience. In return, you’ll enjoy the tranquility of our space, connect with a like-minded community, and gain valuable experience in sustainable living.

Activités et horaires

Although your focus will be in garden maintenance, you may also be asked to help us with cleaning responsibilities around the coliving space. At Ruralco we share a communal way of cooking and sharing food - so come prepared with some of your favorite recipes you want to share with others!

We request that applicants to this position be physically able to work with their hands and do some heavy lifting outdoors.
