L'expérience

Your main tasks will be cleaning & housekeeping, 5 days x 4h weekly shifts in the morning or in the evening. The evening shift's main purpose is to keep the kitchen tidy and supervise the common areas.
Our hostel is fun but relaxed, attracting interesting people that come to meet other travelers, socialize and chill out. We like bringing life to the hostel and always keeping a great atmosphere, so we need your help with this too.

Détails du programme

Some cleaning & housekeeping experience is a plus. Tasks include making bunk beds, cleaning and supervising the kitchen and common areas, taking out the trash, keeping the kitchen tidy, watering the plants, checking the bathrooms...
Shifts hours are 11am to 3pm and 9pm to 1am. 20 housekeeping hours per week, two days off.
In the 1 remaining hour per week, we ask volunteers with some experience in social media (Instagram, Tik Tok) to help create content (videos especially) for our profiles.
When you apply, we appreciate a personal message, not a copy-paste or AI generated text, explaining what kind of tasks you are especially interested in, what is your motivation to work at El Granado and what you would like to do in your free time in Granada. Gracias!
English and Spanish are our two most used languages, so ideally, you can speak both, but English is more important. We need an honest and responsible person. We work hard every day to make the hostel the best of its kind in the city and we want to feel safe and calm that the volunteer we accept will represent the place well. We give some flexibility, as long as the tasks we ask for are completed. We don't want to be your parents asking you over and over to finish your task, so please, only responsible people :)

- checking bathrooms
- keeping the noise in the rooftop areas under control in the evening
- having fun and socializing!
