In this position, you will help ensure that all guest rooms, dorms, and common areas are kept tidy, organized, and pleasant for everyone staying with us. Beautiful hostel with amazing views and close to Ella town, I had 2 yoga classes a day however sometimes no one came. The rooms are nice and have a privacy curtain, I think I came on a week where there were some problems with bookings and unfortunately the host had some health problems so I didn't really speak much to the staff , they were lovely and friendly when I did but there wasn't much communication and it was unclear what I was supposed to get in exchange eg I only got bed and breakfast, no dinner or laundry free, however I still loved my time here:)

This was my first volunteering experience and I could have not asked for a better one! The atmosphere in the hostel is very comfy and social and Sithara, his family and the boys made me feel like home from the beginning! I mainly worked at the reception and was there for the guests :) The working hours were quite flexible and there was also enough time to explore Ella and the surroundings. Sithara was always available over phone whenever I needed something and everyone took good care of me. And not to forget: the views are amazing!

hey Viki. sorry for getting late to written something about you. people need to know. you are the best person we met Giada. you are so kind and all are flexible to do. no any hard works for us. you looks about the reception and the breakfast our hostel. that part you did very big work for us.. thank you soo much for everything... we are looking forward to seen you again another time. thanks for every helps you did for our hostel.. you are always part of the our family...

I had a wonderful experience during my stay! The host was always available and ready to help with anything I needed. The whole family was kind and welcoming, making me feel at home from the very beginning. They supported me whenever I needed assistance and never made me feel like a burden. Communication is key, and I truly appreciated how open and helpful the host was throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and supportive environment! On top of that, the location is amazing!

The owner & family were super welcoming & helpful to me! The rooms were comfy, however I did have to change rooms couple times! It was a bit confusing about meals, however Breakfast was included and they give you lots of food! I was given freedom to teach how I wanted which was nice, as it was low season I sometimes didn't have anyone show up. The hostel is very spacious and beautiful view! The only downfall was the 'content creator' was very invasive and when I tried to respectfully communicate this he adopted a very rude attitude toward me. Despite this I had a good stay. Thank you!

All in all it was a good experience! The rooms were lovely and I met a lot of lovely people during my stay! My job was to do some artwork on the walls but my stay got lost within the system so they wasn't aware I was coming, it was quickly sorted out and they still took me in and made me feel welcome but due to this I didn't have the materials to do the artwork and the host couldn't find what I needed anywhere locally. I would recommend as it was a great stay but just make sure you communicate what is expected beforehand as I felt a little useless for a lot of my stay without the materials.

We were so happy to have you here. You and Jamie helped Mr. Berry (GM) with the whiteboard announcements everyday and writing beautiful poems on the daily basis. Also, I appreciate your time in organizing pop crawl activities between our hostel and the other others. Since, we were waiting for our painters to do new renovation on our walls, we were not able to find the right approach for your cooperation at that time. Hope to see you again the foreseeable future.
