The place was nice with nature so it's fit me but if someone is addicted to electricity and the Internet, it's not perfect place. Also, the host is not the guest house place normally so difficult to make decision with other volunteers. However, Ilir listened my ideas and actions very quick! If someone isn't too lazy to tell their ideas, it's good place! And developing the place and your skills and interests! I feel home there, I would like to come back!

The place delivers what it promises: a stay close to nature, far from civilization, and shared with people from different countries. In low season, tasks are simple, as the focus shifts from the guesthouse to the hosts' home. Meat is not allowed, but it wasn't an issue for me, even though I'm not vegan. Wi-Fi is limited, so it's not ideal for remote work with large files. For this reason, I had to leave earlier than planned. Couples sleep in separate beds. On the positive side, I learned how to make bread. Thank you for the opportunity I'd gladly return.

If you're a digital nomad, you should know that there is no Wi-Fi the guest house. Schedules rotate among volunteers, so you must be available for any shift, and there must always be someone on-site, as volunteers run the entire business. Because of this, we had to leave earlier than planned. On the upside, I learned how to make bread and hummus, and the other volunteers made the experience enjoyable and fun. It's a good place to meet people and be in touch with nature. I'd come back in a quieter season :).

A beautiful experience of nature and introspection, especially in low season. The tasks are easy, and there's plenty of space for creativity; I even learned to make bread and hummus! I met incredible people and animals that I'll carry in my heart forever. Regarding the host, communication with Ilir can be confusing or volatile at times, although he is kind and willing to help. Future volunteers should know that they are 100% responsible for the guest house, so proactive communication is key. Despite the nuances, my first Worldpackers experience was perfect.

I have had an amazing month in Pëllumbas! It was truly a wonderful experience. I felt so welcome from the moment I arrived, mainly because of the other volunteers but also because of the good vibe that lingers around the guest house. The host (Ilir) has cultivated a beautiful meeting place for likeminded people. Because it was low season around the time I stayed here, the day-to-day tasks focussed on keeping the main house and the guest rooms clean, feeding the animals, doing little projects around the guest house and making bread and hummus. I will forever keep this place in my heart!

The guest house was a lovely volunteering experience where I felt truly at home among my other international volunteers. The setting is astonishingly beautiful with the canyon and cave nearby, and the animals brought me so much joy daily. The tasks felt like things I wanted to do in order to keep our communal space in good shape. I would only ever recommend this place for future volunteers and would tell them to bring a journal for lots of time to reflect!

The guest house and the nature surrounding it are beautiful. The volunteers run the entire day-to-day. Tasks are mostly focused on the guesthouse, then fun projects if we had time and enough people. The pets that live on the land are lovely. The volunteers here were what made this experience truly worth it; I learned so much with them, and we shared beautiful insightful conversations and adventures. Made connections I'll forever carry in my heart, specially Be and Stan. Communication with the host, who isn't around often, could be improved, as well his synergy with the volunteers. Wifi isn't strong

The guest house it's amazing. the place has it's magic - the animals (especially Pesto, Nina and Pellumbas) bring so much joy to the place. everyone that come here has a good vibe and that just makes the place better and better. the owner (illir) is so kind and a great partner if he can feel this coming of you as well. i had the most amazing group of volunteers in here with me (special hug for stalin and gio!). the hikes around are waaay prettier than i thought. you have lakes, rivers, waterfalls, canyons, caves... this place definitely has a big space in my heart!

An emotional connection — that has been the heart of this experience. To share a bond with guests, with the volunteers, and with the many creatures that call this place their home. Even with the garden, and the vast embrace of nature that surrounds us. Here, everything unfolds at its own unhurried pace, as each host encounters this haven and marks their own passage through time. And a warm hug for Ruby, who has made my stay here wholly delightful.
