Al llegar fui bien recibida por los otros voluntarios, que me enseñaron cómo funciona el sitio. Sin los otros voluntarios nada funcionaría, nos encargamos de recepción, las reservas, las cuentas, el cuidado del hostel, las comidas para voluntarios y huéspedes, e incluso de Worldpackers. No me gustó que el host no estuviera nada involucrado, pareciera que solo le interesara la economía de la casa. En la casa no hay WiFi , trabajamos según la cantidad de huéspedes y no hay organización según turnos, tareas o días libres. Mi experiencia fue muy bonita gracias a mis compañer@s voluntarios <3

It was a pleasure to have Nuria helping in our daily work. She is a fun person and likes to make jokes.
She is talented working with clay and with painting and that created a very special social interaction for guests and for us too.
We wish her a very good journey and hope to meet again in the future.

The guest house was a lovely volunteering experience where I felt truly at home among my other international volunteers. The setting is astonishingly beautiful with the canyon and cave nearby, and the animals brought me so much joy daily. The tasks felt like things I wanted to do in order to keep our communal space in good shape. I would only ever recommend this place for future volunteers and would tell them to bring a journal for lots of time to reflect!

The guest house and the nature surrounding it are beautiful. The volunteers run the entire day-to-day. Tasks are mostly focused on the guesthouse, then fun projects if we had time and enough people. The pets that live on the land are lovely. The volunteers here were what made this experience truly worth it; I learned so much with them, and we shared beautiful insightful conversations and adventures. Made connections I'll forever carry in my heart, specially Be and Stan. Communication with the host, who isn't around often, could be improved, as well his synergy with the volunteers. Wifi isn't strong

The guest house it's amazing. the place has it's magic - the animals (especially Pesto, Nina and Pellumbas) bring so much joy to the place. everyone that come here has a good vibe and that just makes the place better and better. the owner (illir) is so kind and a great partner if he can feel this coming of you as well. i had the most amazing group of volunteers in here with me (special hug for stalin and gio!). the hikes around are waaay prettier than i thought. you have lakes, rivers, waterfalls, canyons, caves... this place definitely has a big space in my heart!

An emotional connection — that has been the heart of this experience. To share a bond with guests, with the volunteers, and with the many creatures that call this place their home. Even with the garden, and the vast embrace of nature that surrounds us. Here, everything unfolds at its own unhurried pace, as each host encounters this haven and marks their own passage through time. And a warm hug for Ruby, who has made my stay here wholly delightful.

My time working here was lovely. As it was my first time helping to run a hostel/bed and breakfast I picked up lots of knowledge and experience of how running a small accommodation the guest house mountains works. Reception, dealing with booking, bed making, gardening. It was all so enjoyable. The owner was communicative and friendly and always open to feedback about scheduled work times. I met some truly beautiful people here and I will carry what I've learnt into my next experiences!

The guest house is indeed a very special place. It's where nature is absolutely embracing, and you truly feel part of it. In my time there, I met truly wonderful people, learned a lot of new things, such as making bread and humus, or how to even get further from my comfort zone. As always, there's room for improvement, in things like the volunteers responsibilities, or the organization of the tasks themselves. However, the guest house end, those improvements were already happening, and I'm confident they will be for the best. Everyone that feels attracted to this place, will find it healing.

THE place to stay for some beautiful nature near the big city! There are volunteers coming and going, so every couple days the routine can look a little different. Ilir is very warm and welcoming! But keep in mind that he is in Tïrana most of the time, so you are responsible for most of the tasks on your own (though you can always reach out to him, if you have any doubts). There is a river that you can swim in, about 25 minutes by foot, and a small market the guest house, where you can buy most necessities. I'll definitely miss this place and am already planning to come back some time :)

The guest house is a lovely place with a lot of nature and great energy! My time there was chilled, the tasks are simple and we have a lot of freedom to help with outdoor projects and bring new ideas to the guest house! Ilir is also really kind and helpful! We've got hiking trails around and also a river where I loved going swimming! If you like nature and disconnecting from the world, that's the place! The place is run mainly by volunteers, so sometimes the division of tasks and the organization between people can be tough! So being proactive and communicative is a must! Thanks a lot!

Very good experience, it was great because the place itself is great and the people you find volunteering will also be very nice. The only problem is a little bit of lack of organization, the place is fully run by volunteers, there's literally nobody that's not a volunteer staying full time the guest house, which makes some things unclear, as you don't know who to ask (manager lives in Tirana and is not always there). I would recommend it more for long stays, as that same freedom gives you the space to organize as you want. A special thanks to my hermanos Lucas and Yen.
