Everything is designed to make life easy for volunteers—a chef will cook for you, and your shifts are easy to manage, with plenty of fun with the dogs guaranteed. This is a true sanctuary for dogs, but if you truly fall in love with one, the team will help you if you wish to offer a new life to one of them.

Volunteering at the shelter was truly heart warming and I wouldn't want to miss out on this experience. I personally never owned a dog and was able to learn so much from the whole team/ volunteers and from the dogs, too. The tasks are managable, and if there are certain tasks you wouldn't be comfortable doing alone, there's always someone around to ask and the other volunteers will always have your back. Caring for the dogs and getting to know each one of them was truly enriching. If I'm ever back in Thailand I would be so happy to volunteer at the shelter again! 💗

I spent three weeks at the shelter and I am incredibly grateful for this amazing experience! Jazmin and the team created a wonderful home for the dogs and you can see how much they are loved. Each dog has a unique personality and it was really rewarding to get to know them and gain their trust. The tasks are well explained, structured and varied. I recommend every dog ​​lover to volunteer there and support this important and inspiring project. Thank you for letting me be a part of it, this place will always have a special place in my heart❤️!

My experience with the shelter left me feeling extremely grateful. I got to meet so many sweet and friendly dogs and people. the shelter treats all the dogs with the utmost care and It felt so nice to be able to be apart of this amazing organization. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants to spend time with the best dogs and meet some really sweet and caring people who want to make a difference.

My time volunteering at the dog shelter the shelter was a very positive experience. The shelter is cute and relatively quiet, though a bit remote, with limited activities outside of work. The dogs are incredibly sweet, gentle, and lovely. Some tasks, such as cleaning, are less pleasant but are a normal part of shelter work. If you are traveling as a couple dont expect do have much time together. The team at the shelter made me feel very welcome. The staff and other volunteers were friendly and supportive, and the accommodation and common room were comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at the shelter and it was so amazing to get to know each and every dog and all the other lovely volunteers. It felt heartwarming and rewarding to be able to care for the dogs, whether it was through play, walking them or snuggle with them. I thought the work itself was pretty easy since you spend your days with the cutest dogs, which I miss already. The only thing I would say is that the location is pretty remote so there isn't much to do after your shift, but nevertheless it was nice to stay in a quiet and peaceful place far away from the noise and crowds.

The experience was good despite a few setbacks. The bathroom and toilets are basic, and it's hard to move around the shelter. There's a sense of being more of an employee than a volunteer. I encountered scorpions and snakes. The manager was rarely present, there were no human interactions. However, the dogs were adorable, and the volunteer team was great. Good food. Important to highlight; the dogs are well treated. I recommend this experience for dog lovers, but be ready to work hard, not expect activities outside of work hours, live simply, and not expect much interaction with the manager.

I had a great time at the shelter. The dogs are adorable, and I really enjoyed working with them. I also had a wonderful group with nice girls. However, I wish I had known beforehand that there isn't much to do after work, as you live quite remotely. Also, there are poisonous snakes around, which might not be for everyone.

It was my first experience through Worldpackers, and I couldn't have made a better choice. The working hours are fair, and even though it can be tiring at times, the love you get back from the dogs makes all the effort worth it. Moreover, you can see the difference you make by helping out in your small way. I met several girls with whom I formed amazing friendships and created wonderful memories, so if you're a girl traveling alone, this is the right experience for you.
