My time here was nothing short of special. I absolutely loved volunteering here, and it was the most perfect way to start my world packing journey. Luisa, Claudia and Ella are all so wonderful and I feel like i've created life long relationships. They go out of their way so many times to show you around and create activities for you on top of the work load. At the Bande house, there's a lot more independence so I highly recommend bringing your own things to do. While I was here I focused on art and by the end of my time Luisa went out of her way to put on my first exhibit! I'll be back!

The farm was my first trip with Worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Claudia and Luisa are such welcoming and wonderful hosts and I enjoyed every moment of my stay. The work was simple and fun and we had plenty of free time. Claudia and Luisa would take us on day trips to Portugal, the local markets, hiking in the mountains, the hot and cold springs, watching stars and more. I'm gonna miss all the sweet horses, the trail rides and riding lessons, the crazy dogs, the amazing food and everyone that makes this place so special 💫. Hope to be back someday!

I was lucky to spend two absolutely wonderful weeks with Luisa and Claudia. From the moment I arrived, the house had an open and homely atmosphere. With them, you truly get to experience life in the Spanish countryside and slow down for a while. The trips with the horses are real highlights, but you'll also have the chance to experience much more if you want! The work with the horses itself is easy. You will surely enjoy the place if you like spending time with horses and being close to nature 🙏

I couldn't have imagined a better time at the farm. Claudia and Luisa were super welcoming from the start. You can tell they care so much for the volunteers, the horses, and the entire project. The work is easy and there were opportunities to ride a few times a week. Both Claudia and Luisa would take volunteers on day trips, events in the village, the cold springs, and other excursions on off time. I'm so thankful for my experience there and would 100% love to come back!

There is no other experience magical than this one!!! Learning about the horses and culture with Luisa and Claudia was something beyond special. Learning about the horses has given me a deeper appreciation for these special animals. The work is worth it when you see how happy the students are and how unique it is to take visitors on trail rides up the mountains to see the beauty that Galicia has to offer. Meeting people from different countries I and bonding over many topics was the cherry on top! Thank you, Ella, for being an English gem that's makes this place extra special!

La verdad es que fue una de las mejores experiencias internacionales que he tenido, me encantó como desde un inicio me hicieron sentir como parte de la familia y sobre todo me gustó mucho el poder aprender a vivir con otro estilo de vida durante mi estancia. Desde poder estar en contacto con equinos y la naturaleza, paseos por las tardes y recorrer hermosos paisajes hicieron que valiera totalmente la pena. Lástima que tuve que irme antes de lo esperado pero definitivamente si tuviera la oportunidad volvería a regresar.

I had such a great time at the farm! As my first trip with Worldpackers and first solo trip in general I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Claudia and Luisa were so welcoming and helpful with anything I needed. We had many fun adventures, amazing food, and good times on the trails, at parties, or just hanging out at the house. I enjoyed meeting so many amazing people and of course the dogs and horses! Definitely hope to come back!!

I had a great time at the farm!! It was my first solo travel as well as my first experience with worldpackers. And Luisa and Claudia were so great and welcoming! It didn't take long til I was comfortable with them and the other volunteers. The whole experience was just great, amazing food, lovely horses and good fun with everyone. They also made sure we always had a good stay🫶🏻 Such a good experience and I already miss all the people, dogs and horses💕 I really want to come back sometime🥰

Luisa and Claudia were such wonderful and welcoming hosts! I had an amazing three weeks in Galicia — the food was great, the horses were sweet, and the other volunteers, along with Ella, made the experience really special. They took us on fun day trips to Portugal, local markets, parties, natural hot and cold springs, and of course plenty of lovely rides. There was always something to look forward to. They also have two really lovely dogs that I'm definitely going to miss. It's been such a warm and memorable experience — I'm sure I'll be back again!

I had an amazing time at the farm in Galicia. We did a lot of trail rides in the beautiful nature of Galicia which I enjoyed a lot. They also took us to so many different locations ( the rivers, beach, local markets…) The Family was always very caring and made sure we feel comfortable all the time. All the people i met there were so nice and fun I was very sad to leave after the month of my volunteer stay and I alteady miss all the people! I would also recommend this experience to people with no volunteer experience like me:)
