I spent one week with the home and her family and I loved it so much ! Since the day I arrived, I felt part of the family. It was raining everyday so I couldn't da lot but I enjoyed staying at her place, in the nature. I was there during the flooding and she took care of me sooo much, thank you again for everything 🙏 Stay safe ❤️

My first Workaway experience with the home was wonderful! She was kind, fun, and always helpful. Her family was incredibly warm despite the language barrier, and their cute animals made it even better. The home and her family are very kind and welcoming, they are always willing to help you out. The nature in the area is wonderful and it made for some great hikes. The animals are very cute which is an added bonus to the incredible hospitality. This experience makes me want to return to Toddyland again in the future. 10/10 it was amazing, do recommend.

I had such a wonderful time here! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The location is absolutely breathtaking ,surrounded by lush green fields and mountains, it's the perfect place to slow down and connect with nature. The accommodation was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and peaceful.

Both the home and her husband our such lovely and generous people and their families and friends are just equally as kind and welcoming. Our time there involved light work such as teaching a bit of English and picking coffee beans but the experience was mainly about cultural exchange giving us the opportunity to properly learn about Sri Lanka. You go on different adventures such as going on hikes or visiting a temple also engage in meaningful conversations which has left us with lasting memories. Also don't be afraid to ask them for help they helped us with issues we had.thank you both again

The home and her family make this place your home away from home. This is the perfect place to relax, reset and enjoy the amazing countryside of Sri Lanka. the home goes out of her way to ensure your stay here is fantastic. You get deliciously cooked meals, she takes you on trips to local places, helps you plan amazing travel experiences and unlimited cups of the home!! The house is in a remote location but surrounded by amazing nature, and local buses pass through making it easy to organise a day adventuring. Getting to know the home and living a traditional lifestyle here is one I'll never forget!

The work here is minimal, as the main focus is on sharing their way of life and showing you the beauty of this country up close. The house is in a small village, surrounded by mountains - so buses don't go often. The family genuinely cares about your expirience, spending time with you and making sure you feel happy and cofortable. The atmosphere in the house is warm and welcoming. The food is absolutely delicious, and your private room is clean!
