I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I was in the laundry area and the work was fairly easy. Jan and the rest of the team were always very nice and kind to me. The room provided included everything you needed and there was also a gym! If you want to relax and have a chill routine, this is the right place for you. The island offers some nice beaches, you can do island hopping and there are some parties from time to time at some bars, but definitely a more quiet place. I definitely recommend this volunteering :)

Volunteering at the hotel was a great experience! P Jen, P Faa and the entire team were welcoming and made me feel at home from day one. Tasks were well-organized, allowing me to contribute while still having time to explore Koh the hotel. The atmosphere is relaxed yet professional, and the staff genuinely cares about volunteers and guests. Future volunteers can expect a supportive environment, comfortable accommodations, and a perfect balance between work and island life. Highly recommended!

La experiencia fue buena, tuve la oportunidad de conocer personas geniales dentro del voluntariado, el lugar esta frente a una playa hermosa y hay mucha calma. Si buscas un poco más de vida social hay que salir del resort, pero hay muchas opciones. Se respetan los horarios y la habitación estuvo muy bien. El lugar es especial para hacer una pausa si llevas mucho tiempo viajando y corriendo de aquí para allá. Te dan buenos descuentos en tours y sobre todo un excelente precio si deseas alquilar una moto. El personal es muy amable. Agradezco mucho a Jan por todo. siempre esta dispuesta a ayudar.

Volunteering as a Content Creator was an enriching experience creating engaging content and managing social media platforms. The accommodation was simple but sufficient: a private room that had just a bed; while there was no hot water, it was easy to adapt given the warm climate. On my free time I spent time with the others volunteers exploring the area and relaxing on the nearby beaches. This experience it's perfect for immerse yourself in local culture and enjoy peace and quiet! So I recommend it!

Jan is a lovely person, and I am truly grateful for the experience I had. However, there are important details. Volunteers are strictly prohibited from using the resort's common areas: pool, sun loungers, and tables. The staff dorm area has a significant litter problem, which results in many ants. There are children and babies living in the staff quarters, so environment can get noisy, even during the night. The food provided is extremely spicy. The daily menu is rice with a chili sauce and fish/chicken. I often received contradictory info from staff, it led to confusion and frustration.

My experience was not adequate.From the moment I arrived, I was not shown how the place worked:team introduction, internal schedules, or daily dynamics. When I asked for basic information (schedules and days off), the answers were without willingness. The bed base had mold, making it unhealthy to sleep there.The wifi was unstable, the work depends 100% on it. For these reasons, I decided to leave earlier.For me, volunteering means giving and receiving with empathy. Ubuntu:“I am because we are.”When that “we” is missing, the exchange breaks. I hope this feedback helps strengthen that connection

The hotel and place had charm and the staff was lovely however the experience could have been much better if the host had communicated more and was more engaging. Didn't receive much communication from the host which left me very uncertain and one time no response. I had a issue with the room I was in too which was not resolved so I left early as I was uncomfortable as it made it very hard to sleep

It was good! I got a private room. The work was easy, the staff were nice! A very quiet place away from parties and bars, super good to relax. (You won't have a hot shower, but you won't need it either, because it's very hot there haha)
