Détails du programme

I am retired and live alone one a small farm. I do much of the work with horses, but have also a tractor I use.
On a farm there is always something to be done that I may need help with.
I have six horses on the farm. I own four of them myself, the other two are owned by someone who rents stables for them from me. I also have a hunting dog and two cats.
As a host, I am flexible and open to finding solutions that take care of both myself and the volunteers. . We can plan and agree along the way how things should be. When it comes to meals, for example; we can have some together and some individually.

Activités et horaires

Help to do what is have to be done at the farm. Houshold, carpentry, painting, daily feeding and care of animals etc.
The horses at the farm is mainly used for work. In winte they pull timber in the forest. This timber will later be cut and split into firewood. It would be nice if I can get volunteers who could also help with this. It will involve medium heavy manual work and operating a firewood-splitter. It is not necessary to have previous experience with the latter. It is easy to get used to it for those who want to.
Take care of my animals when I am away. I regularly travel away to visit people, hold courses about working horses and to hunt.
