Working at the hostel was an incredible experience! Maja provided me all the necessary support, and I also had the help of the fantastic team of my friends volunteers and Darko. The hostel is very well located, and I was able to explore many places in the city. I definitely want to return someday.

My experience as a volunteer was incredible. I was able to meet people who are also traveling with a style more or less similar to mine, trying to meet and connect. On the other hand, Maja, the host, is very good, she is very flexible, kind and is always available to resolve any doubts. Without a doubt, it was a great experience. I would recommend her.

I stayed in the hostel for 2 months and I can say at the beginning was a bit tough because the other volunteers weren't travelers so they weren't in the mood to socialize or hang out… Also , I can say this hostel is not specifically for “backpackers “ (at least in winter) but still you can meet people. Tasks are super easy, work hours are more than respected, the hostel is medium and you can manage all the tasks despite the hostel is in the 5th floor and in the 1st flor. Maja is absolutely amazing person & host, she will all the time help you, she was amazing! Thanks for all :)

My stay in the hostel was amazing. The volunteering team was absolutely amazing and made me feel at home since the day 1. Tasks at the hostel are very easy to manage and the owner, Maja, is kind and flexible. I will definitely come back!

The volunteer work is simple and based on trust, which removes pressure. However, the lack of follow-up and presence leads to disorganization, dirtiness, and some volunteers leaving tasks incomplete or undone. There is no formal induction: only a wall sheet lists tasks without explaining how they work, forcing volunteers to make mistakes to learn, causing a sense of abandonment. Despite Maja's kindness, more presence and clear induction are needed. The lack of supervision also caused a serious issue by ignoring a very sick volunteer.

I had to leave before because of some personal issues I talked over with Maja. The team at the hostel is great and always willing to give you a hand and to solve any questions when you need it, so I felt very supported in that regard :) Maja is very organized with the schedule, and the agreed hours were always respected and fair, and also, the tasks were very clear and easy. Basically, you have to treat the space as you'd do in your own home. The hostel is also in a good location, so it's easy to get to some attactions on your days off. Thank you for having me!

The hostel's location is perfect, right in the city center, so you can easily explore the city. The shifts are simple, and the host is flexible. The accommodations could be better, but they're still fine. Belgrade is an incredible city ❤️

Maja is a kind and good host. The night watchman Darko and the other volunteers were really welcoming. Beds are comfy and you have your own locker to put your belongings in. Sadly i had to leave early, but you can definitely come here.
