L'Expérience

This June, I'm opening a small hostel in the picturesque village of Himare. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the hostel is a peaceful retreat, just a 7-minute walk from the crystal-clear, blue beach. I'm looking for help with running the hostel once it is open. Motivation and good vibes are highly appreciated. Join me in creating a welcoming and cozy home for travelers and backpackers to enjoy! :)

Had an unforgettable time volunteering at the hostel! Serxho is a fabulous host and cares deeply about the hostel and the guests. The vibe is so communal and welcoming and the food is absolutely incredible! This volunteer experience definitely takes work but is so worth the effort! Leaving Albania with a bunch of new friends and a place I will forever think of as home <3

I received Halle for two weeks like a volunteer and I can say that was really good to have her. She is very friendly and committed on the daily working hostel. We had such a great team of volunteers in which Halle played a great role. She knows how to work in group. Thank you Haley

I had an absolutely wonderful time volunteering at the hostel with Serxho the owner, and the other volunteers! I stayed for almost 5 weeks (the longest ever place I've ever stayed volunteering or just travelling) and I'm so glad it was the hostel in Himare. The atmosphere and environment felt like home immediately. The people who came to this hostel were such kind, fun and caring souls. The food Serxho makes every day is beyond delicious. The beaches just down the road are gorgeous and every day felt like a blessing to be living. I am forever grateful for my time at the hostel and with Serxho!

Calegh is one of my best volunteers that I have had. She is such a committed person but overall very efficient and very very responsible on duties like hostel cleaning maintenance , reception, welcoming the guests and so on. It was so great to have Calegh has a volunteer in my hostel. I will miss the smiley Calegh and her commitment which made natural hostel respectful and so much desirable for the guest.🩵🩵

I can't say enough good things about Serxho and the hostel! I had the best 3 weeks volunteering in Himarë. Serxho (and his food!) are amazing. There was sometimes a lot to manage with running the hostel, but the perks more than made up for it. Himarë is the best town to settle in, the beach is amazing and so close to the hostel, Serxho's cooking is the best ever, and the people I met here, both guests and my fellow volunteers, are incredible! Highly recommend the hostel, I miss it so much and hope to be back someday ◡̈

Vivian was a good volunteer which made me happy to have her. She looks very much after the hostel in different ways. My stay here was wonderful!!! Serxho was an unbeatable host: he was very attentive and always made sure that we were comfortable. The food he cooked was absolutely amazing. Dinner time at the hostel was very enjoyable and also a very good opportunity to connect and chat with the guests. The tasks were very simple, you only have to know how to work as a team. As for the location, we were only five-minute walk away from the most beautiful and peaceful beach of town. Finally, I want to thank Serxho for this opportunity and the other volunteers for making my stay unforgettable!<3

My time at the hostel was amazing! Serxho makes everyone feel at home at the hostel, guests and volunteers alike. The family dinners were a highlight everyday, and the work expected of us was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone, and hope to come back one day!
