I run an agritourism in a beautiful place 15 km from Cefalù in the Madonie Park,in Sicily. We need help with carpentry work, masonry, gardening, horticulture,permaculture, making signposts for the trails in the ancient oak forest, caring for the animals and sometimes serving breakfasts and cleaning common spaces. Ours is also a literary agritourism (with library) and an educational farm.

Détails du programme

I am trying to restore a farmhouse that has been neglected and abandoned for many years. We are already well underway but lack the money to complete some important parts. We have set up a small vegetable garden. We need to clear the forest paths of stones and brambles and collect wood; restore two studios in the forest and make an outdoor kitchen; build new fences; and paint lettering for signposts in the forest. We need to finish cataloging library books; ours is also a literary farmhouse, and each room is dedicated to a different author or character in literature. The ancient oaks are also dedicated to poets, and ours is a literary and poetic forest, unique in Sicily. Yoga, creative writing and meditation workshops are also sometimes held at our place.
