This was my 3rd Worldpackers experience in Australia and it was my favourite ! I extended my stay! :) The hostel is full of amazing people and i made some great friends. The managers are amazing and the experience in general is all i could've wished for. It's at the perfect spot in Agnes just a 3 min walk from the grocery store and a 5 min walk from the beach. The work is very easy and pretty fun because you do it together with the other Worldpacker volunteers. I will be coming back!

The hostel was my first Worldpackers experience, and I had the most amazing time! The hostel is a home away from home and the work exchange was very reasonable and allowed plenty of time to explore the local area, beautiful beaches and hikes. The managers Rob and Shazz are awesome and really care about you and take on board any suggestions. I loved the vibe at the hostel and the daily events which meant that guests and staff spent a lot of time together. I would 10/10 recommend this Worldpackers experience and hope to be back one day!

Backpackers @ 1770 is the best hostel in Australia - hands down. I extended my stay here and still didn't want to leave! The work is very fair and the managers, Shaz and Rob are the greatest! The hostel itself attracts the best kinds of people and I've made some lifelong friends. I'm so grateful I found a home away from home - I will be back one day for sure!

I loved volunteering at Backpackers @1770. The work was easy and I met the most amazing people there. It was way to hard to leave this place and the friends I made there so I will be back definitely.

This hostel is like a magnet for good people, I had a great experience and met some wonderful people there. The free surf boards are a big plus and the location is great, I would definetly recommend it to anyone!

I had the best time 1770! The staff, guests, and everyone I met were the most kind hearted, genuine people. It was an amazing first hostel experience and I would 100% recommend. Definitely will be back!

The hosts were more like friends than managers, understanding supportive and fun. Couldnt have imagined better hosts for a first time experience! Alltogether everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, amazing staff and friendly guests. The whole atmosphere there was heartwarming, it felt like home <3

The hostel was my first experience with Worldpackers and outside home country and I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity, to meet new amazing people, get in touch with nature, practice English, practice social skills and much more. The staff are amazing and the hostel has a great energy overall. Duke is the star of it all. Grateful for the experience!✨

Backpackers 1770 is a dream experience ! Met some wonderful people there, including the managers who are super welcoming and adaptative 🙏 Agnes Water is a place you wanna see, one of those hidden gems that shows you a more authentic part of Australia. Highly recommand !!
