Este fue mi primer voluntariado y la verdad que ha sido espectacular. Estuve a cargo de la cocina y estuvo muy divertido. Mis compañeros del staff son lo máximo! Su compañía me ayudo mucho ya que es mi primer gran viaje sola. También al estar en un hostel te permite conocer gente nueva todo el tiempo, vivir nuevas experiencias, conocer el mundo a través de ellos! El hostel en sí ya es muy bonito, rodeado de naturaleza, a minutos de la playa, instalaciones cómodas, pero la onda de la gente es lo que lo convierte en un hostel 5 estrellas. Súper recomendable!!!

"A little out of the way, a lot out of the ordinary" an understatement of what it truly means to be a part of the hostel. As well as the big heart of Agnes Water & 1770 that it had shared with not just me, but for many others! From planning to stay for only a month to staying half a year, just goes to show the love you'll learn to form with such beautiful people and a 2nd home! To the owners Oscar & Javi, thank you for having me and making my first WorldPackers experience an unforgettable one! This will forever be my favourite time here in Australia! The best place in Australia, I learned a lot of things, the main one was empathy, the managers Rob and Shazz made my days light and friendly, leaving was the only difficult thing to do, the hostel has an incredible vibe, I felt welcomed by a great family and I want to return soon.

I enjoyed my time at backpackers so much. I met so many amazing people and made many new friends for life . The work was 2 hrs a day and was easy tasks . It was my first Worldpackers experience and it couldn't have been better. This place and these wonderful people make you never want to leave. I would definitely recommend!!!

This place truly becomes a second home, I have met the most amazing people in both the guests and the amazing staff and management, these are the type of people that make you love human connection! Plus the management was incredibly understanding and willing to be flexible when things came up, it's definitely built on mutual respect and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Backpackers @ 1770 was my 1st experience of volunteering, and it was incredible. I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel thanks to the other volunteers and the managers Shazz and Rob. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. The work is easy and reasonable. You only work a few hours per day, which gives you heaps of time for yourself. During your free time you can go surfing, or enjoy the beach. If anything happens, the managers will help you and find a way to make it work for everyone. You'll definitely create amazing friendships in Agnes !!

My experience at backpackers 1770 was incredible. People here are so nice and welcoming, it became my family The work is pretty easy and the people make the place wholesome. You can always chill at the hostel, enjoy free surfboards at the beach which really close or even take the free bikes for ride to the sunset. The staff and guests are always doing activities and having fun. Loved this amazing place Miss u guys

Amazing! I really enojoy my time at the hostel and I would definitely come back if I have the chance. Rob and Shazz, the managers, are really welcoming and made me feel at home. The vibe at the hostel is really unique and there is a nice feeling of community between all the people here. Loved this experience!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it was a 10/10!! Shazz and Rob, the managers, really care about guests and volunteers, they always try their best to make people feel welcomed. As for the work exchenge, it is very reasonable, the chores are easy and as you do it with other volunteers they can also be fun. They require just a couple of hours per day which allowes volunteers to enjoy beautful Agnes Water! Thanks to all the amazing people I met in in the hostel I had the luck to find a home far from home, I will definetly come back!!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I loved it. I extended my stay and will definitely come back. The work in the hostel is easy doable and you will have plenty of time to explore Agnes. The managers and the other volunteers are amazing and I was able to create friendships:) I would definitely recommend this work exchange
