Stay on our sheep farm in France & help us with our twins
L'expérience
We are a young, welcoming family living on a small sheep farm in peaceful rural South West France. I’m 28, mom of lively twins who are almost 2 years old, my partner works shifts in a local factory. We’d love to welcome a kind, caring person who enjoys spending time with children to help us watch the little ones while we work. In return, you’ll get to experience family life on a traditional farm and enjoy the calm of the French countryside.

Détails du programme
With us, you can expect to experience life on a traditional French sheep farm, enjoy the calm of the countryside, and explore beautiful local paths and charming small villages.
In return, we’d love your help with our nearly 2-year-old twins : sharing breakfast time, playing, going outside, gently settling them for naps. Your days will be filled with laughter, fresh air, and simple routines. We hope for someone kind, patient, and caring who enjoys spending time with little ones while discovering rural French family life.
Activités et horaires
A typical day could look like this :
- taking your breakfast with the twins while I already head out doing some farm work
- spending the morning playing with them or going outside if the weather's good
- we will have lunch all together, my partner might be working depending on his shifts, but my mom who comes to the farm to give me a hand might eat with us
- after lunch you can settle the twins down for their nap and enjoy the few hours of calm (and use it to do whatever you enjoy in the house, backing, watching tv, reading, taking a nap too, etc.)
- at around 4 or 5pm they have what we French call the traditional "goûter" (a little snack in the afternoon), of course you can share it with them 😁
- once I've finished work we can cook together, watch tv, do a games evening or you can use one of our bikes to go and discover the local countryside.
This could be a typical day but my working hours always depend on the season and the current chores that need to be done. If nothing urgent is on the to do list it can be that I choose to take an entire afternoon off on a random Thursday to spent it with the twins. This schedule is just to give you a rough idea but it doesn't mean every day will look like this. The twins also spend some days at the daycare or with their grandparents.
