Al llegar me sentí un poco decepcionada, supongo que el covid-19 tuvo algo que ver. El hostel llevaba cerrado mucho tiempo y nada estaba como esperaba. Nos tocó limpiar lo más grande. No estaba abierto, y debido a la situación de la pandemia abrían solo los fines de semana al principio, porque no sabían como iría la cosa. Creo que esto es algo excepcional. Pero esto no quit que la experiencia haya sido increíble, no puedo describir con palabras lo bien que me lo he pasado. Tanto el manager como los trabajadores son muy sociables y amigables. Ojalá pudiera repetir pronto la experiencia.

Due to the pandemic, the hostel was closed and we only had to clean and organize the hostel bar. But on my first weekend in Bruges the bars and restaurants were closed for a month. Stephen was very kind and let us stay as long as necessary. But I preferred to leave early so I could go to a place that I could be most useful to. I have no words to thank you for the way I was treated. I am very grateful for the opportunity and hope to return when the situation improves around the world.

First days you'll feel lost, the hostel is so big, there are so many people working there, it will take a bit to learn what to do in all the different shifts..but worry not! That amazing team has got your back 😎 before you know it, you'll feel at home there, and all those people living, working and partying with you everyday will feel like some of your closest friends! Brugge is a lovely city, but soon you'll realize that the hostel is where you'll want to spend most of your time 💙 I had an amazing time there, I can only hope to go back there one day and repeat the experience :)

The hostel it's a great hostel, super big and always full of people. They have a bar in the same hostel, which is very fun! The tasks are simples, you can have breakfast shift, cleaning or night shift the hostel bar, and you always have the help of the interns or the empleoyees. The people are very easygoing and funny! If your plans are, continue traveling around the area, they are very flexible with the schedule. Thanks for everything the hostel!

Volunteering in the hostel was a great experience! I had the opportunity to interract with local people as well as with travelers like me in the hostel, by being in charge of the drinking games each night, which led me to get out of my comfort zone and socialize with others! Also the tasks beside the main assigned, was helping out in the kitchen cleaning and helping out the hostel bar, which were easy tasks and in exchange you get many things like being able to use the bikes, breakfast and also money to buy food with other volunteers, so it's a great deal!

Ha sido mi primera experiencia en este tipo de voluntariado y no me arrepiento en absoluto de haber elegido el hostel. Un lugar increible en una ciudad de cuento. Los trabajadores muy amables y simpáticos, los voluntarios una gran familia familia. En general, un lugar que te transmite muy buenas vibraciones y te proporcion una experiencia única.

What a great experience! Awesome people and staff.. Some of the staff became a real family to me. I'll miss that for sure! The Hostel is great with a lot of fun and many benefits for the volunteers.. We played cards and drink the hostel bar many times! I enjoyed a lot this hostel and I totally recommend this place for everyone who wants to have real fun and memorable times. Thanks to all the team.

What to tell about this place and my experience there.... One thing for sure, this place rules! Easy and fun to work, great people and great atmosphere. My first volunteer experience and i didn't expect it to be so good. I can't think of a single thing that i disliked about the hostel. Only times when i was not feeling good there was when i was acting like a little spoiled bi*ch! Just few footsteps and doors from your room you'll find yourself in the hostels bar the heart of this place and with around 50 different belgium beers and bunch cool people you'll never get bored! Peace! One love!
