L'expérience

Savitaipale is a beautiful, hospitable
little town in between the lakes Saimaa and Kuolimo. It is well known for its various
sports facilities (gym, pool, ice hockey, ice skating, curling, volleyball, tennis, horse
riding, etc).Occasionally, we take our helpers to our cottage. The cottage is in a beautiful location near a lake with almost nobody around and where you can enjoy Finnish nature.
From September to April, volunteers will need headlamps

Détails du programme

The working hours are 5 hours a day, with two days a week off. The time is flexible, so you can choose which days to have off. Arriving and leaving days are counted as ONE working day If you want to work more or less hours one day, then you can add them or take them away from another day.
We can accommodate several people (4-6). Helpers rooms are shared and have three single beds. One private room for couples. Rooms are inside house, but in separate apartment with small kitchen and includes shared toilet and shower.
The house is located in the center of the village close to shops outdoor museum with lookout tower and outdoor auditorium 10 minutes away. Nearby cities include Lappeenranta to the south and Mikkeli to the north which are both accessible from Savitaipale via bus

Activités et horaires

I need HELP with household chores, as well as, with my recycling
interests--cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, taking care of yard and dog, art projects
(when i have energy and free time i am interested to do art and hand craft project),
cleaning or repairing recyclables, renovating flat and outside buildings and grocery
shopping. And I mostly need help at my little flea market there we also clean, repair and test items and we make them ready for sell in flea market
There is also maintenance help to be done at our cottage and daily chores involved in
cabin life, if we are there, such as, fetching water, chopping firewood, cleaning, cooking,
or catching a fish...
