In Türkiye's secret paradise, Ayvalik (an old Greek town); we offer volunteers an opportunity to live in this small town. You'll see the best beaches of the country and feel the Aegean breeze. You'll gain experience about hotel business from housekeeping to managing. We are a family of three who run this hotel right now and we already have 5 full-time staff. You're only gonna be here to know the city and have your best summer!

2 jours de congé par semaine

Dortoir partagé: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres voyageurs.

Intermédiaire Anglais ou Débutant Turc

Entre 18 et 25 ans

Accueille uniquement les volontaires solo (n'accepte pas les couples ou partenaires)

Détails du programme

During the program, you’ll learn basic Turkish language by working here. You’ll gain experience about housekeeping, serving and other hotel jobs. You'll probably have one of the best summers of your life in this small town. We're located so close to many famous cities of Turkey so you'll be able visit other places in your day offs.
If you like dancing, we dance traditional Greek & Turkish dances here. We can teach them to you and we can dance together. If you like cooking, you can use our fully equipment kitchens to try anything you want to.

Activités et horaires

Workdays are arranged by the needs of the hotel. Volunteers will have 2 off days in a week and we arrange them. In Ayvalik, everywhere is open everyday during summer period so weekends are not different than weekdays in here. We have many different shift opportunities and you'll try each.
Some usually helps for breakfast serving and housekeeping. Some helps for housekeepers, bellboy and then they work at pool or garden bar. Some works at pool bar and they help to the guests who check-in late. No experience needed for anything. We’ll teach you everything you need here❤️ After your work, you can go to local bars and pubs to have fun or you can relax in pool. You can go on a boat tour or diving tour. You can visit other places like Izmir, Çanakkale, Istanbul for a day.

Règles

We have zero tolerance to bullying, violence and homophobia/transphobia. If we witness one of these, you’ll be sent back asap and won’t be accepted again in our program. We don’t accept any kind of bad behavior to our hotel customers. We work really clean. Especially in breakfast service and housekeeping. You must be so careful about your hygiene during work. In Turkey, any kind of drugs or weed are illegal so you can’t take them in our place. No smoking in bedrooms because of the wood buildings. You also need to be good with animals since Ayvalik is a street animal heaven :)
