I can't even explain how much I loved my experience working the hostel! The staff there is like a family and I was welcomed with open arms and had the best time! It has the best energy and atmosphere and allowed me to meet locals and travelers from all around the world and create lasting friendships & memories throughout! The location is phenomenal giving you the ability to travel while having a safe place to come back to and call home. I was so incredibly sad to leave but am so looking forward to going back because it's too great to not come back to :) so much love for my the hostel family

I had a great experience the hostel! The work is easy enough and even fun, hours are always respected and you have enough free time to do what you want. The staff is super welcoming and genuinely care about you having a good time. Steve in particular is the nicest person and always tries to accomodate your needs. And the other volunteers were the best, in just a couple weeks they already felt like family

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena, tenemos un lugar muy grande para los voluntarios y los empleados son superflexibles podes acomodar tus horarios para visitar otros lugares en tus días libres, espero volver algún día.

Este mes en el hostel ha sido uno de los mejored de mi vida. Las amistades que he formado aquí son para toda la vida y el staff ha sido de lo más amigable. Es un lugar acojedor y con mucha fiesta. El trabajo no es para nada duro y se hace muy ameno y más si estas con la gente adecuada.

It was my first experience as a volunteer (and abroad!) and I had a great time during my stay the hostel. The manager, Stephen, is always willing to help you when you need anything and makes sure everything's okay. The staff is also amazing and they make you feel welcome right away. The hostel is close to downtown and has all the facilities you need nearby. Just keep in mind it's a hostel and for that reason, it's always busy there. But once you get used to this pace of life, you'll be fine. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone to wants to have some fun and meet people from all over the world!

No sabría describir este mes. He conocido a gente increíble, aquí se forma una familia, no sólo con los voluntarios también con el staff. Yo tenía pensando ir a otro hostel en Londres después de este voluntariado y finalmente decidí quedarme porqué aquí no te puedes sentir más agusto. El trabajo es sencillo, ameno y para nada duro, el staff siempre te agradece la ayuda. Si te gusta la fiesta, este tu sitio. Es el sitio ideal si quieres viajar por Bélgica, Francia, Holanda...

This was my first volunteering experience and it was amazing. The job is simple and you have time for yourself to travel or enjoy Bruges. All the stuff were welcoming and fun and the volunteers make you feel at home. I highly recommend this experience!

I had a ridiculous amount of fun at Barhaus. The staff and the volunteers were all so welcoming and just fun to be around. It really does feel like a family. My main job was the party promoter and it was a lot of fun. You have a good amount of freedom to come up with new ideas and try things out. The guests and the locals like to get involved (and sometimes the staff too) which made my job even easier. I would love to go back someday :-)

The hostel. the hostel was my first volunteer experience and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The staff, interns and volunteers are the nicest people ever and they come from all over the world. The tasks are easy and fun and you have a lot of time to explore the beautiful city and surrounding areas. I can 100% recommend this place for practicing English, socialising, making amazing friends and having the best time of your live!

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue increíble. Lo recomiendo sobre todo si es tu primera experiencia, quieres quedarte como mucho un mes y tu propósito es ver Bélgica. Steve es super flexible y la gente del staff te hace sentir uno más desde el primer momento. Por poner algo en contra, a lo mejor no es mejor el sitio si tu intención es sentirte como en familia allí
