I'm running some English classes at the moment. Here is some information:
- My students are from 5 to 35 years old.
- The only reason they come to my place is to improve their speaking skills.
- They are very open and eager to learn English by talking and playing games together.

All you need to do:
- Use basic English to practice Enlgish with them.
- Think about some interesting games to play.
- Prepare the lessons.

Vélos à votre disposition: Vous pouvez utiliser nos vélos quand vous le souhaitez.

Cours de langue: Suivez des cours de langue gratuits chez nous.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Accès Internet Basique: Internet à vitesse basique pour travailler à distance

Exigences

Intermédiaire Anglais

Entre 18 et 65 ans

Accueille les volontaires solo, les couples et les partenaires de volontaires

Être originaire d'un pays autre que Vietnam

Détails du programme

The main purpose for this project is that I want to create a fun and friendly environment for Vietnamese people practicing English speaking.

As far as you know, in Vietnamese we do not have a lot of opportunities to improve our speaking. So that's why I am here.

I would like to look for volunteers who are:
- Fluent in English.
- Easy-going and open-minded.
- Flexible.

Most of my students are adults (over 18), 2 of them are teenagers (14-15) and 1 kid (8).
All of them are friendly and eager to learn English.
I really want to make the lessons simple and fun so they can learn English easily. I do a lot of methods: learning by English songs, common topics, simple grammar and games,...

Besides, volunteers will have a lot of opportunities to experience our local life. We would love to show you around the city on weekends, go to my extended family to have lunch and dinner together.

Activités et horaires

We have classes in the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
- In the morning: 1-2 classes. (not usually)
- In the afternoon: 1-2 classes (1 is usually)
- In the evening: 1-2 classes.
One class usually lasts 30 minutes to 1 hour and a half (it depends).

The schedule is flexible, so I will send the schedule to volunteers by the end of the week. If there's anything change, I will let you know as soon as possible.

I do have a classroom here with all of necessary materials for the lessons: a TV, a white board, tables, chairs,...
I also have a spare laptop, so you can use it for the teaching.

Règles

- Prepare the lessons carefully before the classes.
- Do not wear shorts (skirts are ok).
- Do not wear hats/caps.
- Prepare some games just in case.
- Be on time.
