Hi! I am Aurel, French sound system designer/producer and travel lover :)
My project is to create a full autonomous place. I plan to build a big vegetable garden, some small wooden constructions and also continu to arrange my land.

"Important":
-I ONLY accept people from Europe and Canada
-No couples, friends OK
-You have to be an adult, autonomous and responsible!
-You have to be OK with manual work, be dirty... It is the countryside!

Leçons de surf: Prenez des cours de surf gratuits sur les plages locales.

Détails du programme

The work:
Your time table is 4h/day 6 days a week, we start at 9am and finish at 1pm. You have to be productive! No break every 30 minutes, you have to listen what I say about the way to work and do it as I said. Be productive is important, I spend lot of time and money for volunteers, so it is necessary that in return I get a benefit about your work. If you are slow or useless, better I do the work myself, I win time and money!

Tasks I will ask you to do mostly:
-Clean the land with weed cutter machine (I love this job)
-Start the vegetable garden
-Build wooden structures
-Install solar panels

About you:
You have to be an early riser!!! Not wake up at 9am when we are supposed to start work at 9am!
You will have to work! Be sure you are motivated to do manual work before apply.
It is country side work, so can be physical and dirty. Be ready for that and do not complain about it.
No grumpy people too please!!!

About the place:
My place can be very cold for winter (-7°C) or very hot+flies+mosquitoes for summer.
Also from Oct to Feb, hunters are arround, gunshots are very early.
You have to be ready to do normal tasks after work as clean your bathroom, your house, your kitchen and cook for you or for the group...

About your stay:
I propose 3 kinds of accommodations for your nights:
- One tiny wooden house (5m2) with one single bed, and sofa and heater or fan
- A closed tree hut (not for claustrophobic person) with a single bed and a terrace
- A floor hut with a single bed and a view

There is a shared outdoor bathroom for volunteers only, with eco toilets and shower with hot water and heater

Activités et horaires

The activities after work that I propose you to do:
-Go to ride e-montain bikes arround my land! I have 200km of tracks with all kind of difficulties. You have to know how to ride a bike a minimum. Ebikes is the best way to enjoy the surrounding here.
-Enjoy the beach or the river, beach is at 25min of car and river 25-40min of bike
-Hiking, firsts hikes are very close
-Surf or kayak (surf is possible but very rare)
-Visit cities like Valencia, Tarragona, Barcelona (we share the fees for gasoline...)

Activities on site:
-Watching movies the night with the outside cinema (April to November)
-Chill in lot of dedicated places with views

Règles

I will decline all person that do not answer after 1 day to my first reply.
If you are too slow to confirm I will decline too.

I DO NOT include your food. We plan what we eat and share the fees of the food with "Tricount". For the breakfast, you pay for what you like.

If the ambiance is not good because of you, I will ask you to leave. Also if you are ineficient for the work, I will also ask you to leave.

Electricity:
Electricity is from solar panels, so we have to be carefull about the consumation mostly during winter when it is cloudy.

Water and wifi:
I use rain water with tanks so we have to be carefull about the quantity of water we use. Wifi is not unlimited too but it is available everywhere in the land.
