My experience was very enriching; from the first day I felt welcomed by the team and by the overall atmosphere. My tasks included guest assistance and support with cleaning. Sharing daily life with people from different countries helped me practice languages. In addition, living in Brașov was an incredible experience: the city has a beautiful natural environment and a fascinating history

A magical place. Don't be surprised if you make friends, end up going out every night, or chilling in the lounge until late at night (Respectfully). The quality of people who frequent this hostel is incredible. I couldn't expect anything different when the people who work here are so special, polite, attentive, and caring. It was an incredible month and I recommend everyone to experience Transylvania, and especially recommend experiencing it at the hostel. A special thanks goes to Lorand - I wish anyone doing the volunteer experience to find a Lorand in their life.

This was a great experience. The city of Brasov is very centralized and allows you to explore Romania and meet all the travelers that are traveling through Romania. The hosts worked effortlessly to accommodate and ensure everyone was well integrated to the team. The schedule and workflow were clear. The communication within the staff, group chat, and the host kept everyone informed and resolved any issues. It was a great environment to work in, which enhanced the entire experience. I had an absolute blast at the hostel! Brasov is incredibly beautiful and the hostel is located right in the heart of it, making access to everything around it immediately and simple. Lorand was a total gem, caring greatly about the volunteers, buying us food and drinks when we were socialising with the guests and always making himself available for support when it was required. At no point did I ever feel left out on a limb, and I could not be happier with the experience I shared with him and the other volunteers. 💯 Full marks!!

This was a really fun experience, the host was amazing and I enjoyed it. If you are wondering if you should come or not then I would recommend it. I met a ton of travellers and make so many wonderful friends!

I was so heartbroken when I left the hostel and the lovely city of Brasov. I had a great time there, mostly thanks to Lorand, who worked hard to make my experience as smooth and pleasant as it was. There was so much to love in this time I've been there: the cool conversations with Lorand and the guests, the hikes, the cats, the chilling vibe of the hostel that is located centrally in the city and a relaxing spot at the same time. Great, great experience!

We had an incredible time at the hostel and felt immersed in the Romanian culture through our experience. Lorand especially made this experience incredible through his commitment to assisting us throughout our time volunteering. The work and hours are as stated on worldpackers and was given flexibility as needed! We cant wait to return to our second home <3

The hostel was such an amazing experience. From the beginning Lorand ensured we made it to the hostel safely, had everything we needed, and gave us a guide to the city. The work hours are flexible and the shifts were as outlined on worldpackers. All the staff were welcoming and made the hostel feel like our second home. We are going to miss the city and all our new friends so much!!

What a great experience. The staff was amazing from the moment I arrived. Lorand treated me like family, gave me recommendations for my free time. Asvini was my roommate and we got along so well. Ion at the front desk was always quick to smile at my antics. Sorina was very helpful and kind whenever I had questions. I stayed through Christmas, they invited me to a secret Santa and gave me some Christmas joy as I was far from my family. My time here will always be cherished. I recommend coming for Christmas and NYE, it was magical.

I had a great stay at the hostel! The work was manageable, the schedule was properly structured, and all the hours were agreed upon. I met so many amazing people in the hostel and got to connect with lots of locals as well. There is so much to see in Brasov, and I had plenty of free time to go out and explore. The work is a bit more than other places ive been, and they expect a lot out of you as a volunteer, but overall I had a great time at the hostel! Brasov is a one of a kind place and I cant wait to come back one day :)
