A perfect first WP experience. I loved spending time with Sophie & Charles during our daily meals. In May, the work was all gardening; pulling weeds & prepping the garden for the spring flowers. Work hours are reliable and respected (8:30-12:30), leaving the day free to explore or take the bus to nearby towns. This experience is for those looking to disconnect & enjoy bucolic pleasures in a relatively undiscovered region. Rivers, rolling hills, & the guest house - which twinkles with the years of love and life its owners have poured into it. It was an honor to take part in maintaining its legacy.

My experience at the guest house with Sophie as the host was amazing! She was caring and patient with any questions I had. The place, an authentic historical jewel with beautiful gardens and nature all around. I felt transported like in a movie. Never bored of walking around. Though the gardening tasks were occasionally tiring, they were undoubtedly rewarding. the guest house is located in a pretty, small village where you can talk with some locals. If there was time, Sophie and Charles drove me to see other pretty cities around.I am soo grateful to them both.And looking foward to come back one day!
