We are an independent hostel in Naples with a strong focus on community life, guest experiences and a collaborative but well-organised working environment — a place where people from all over the world meet, share stories and feel at home. Our hostel operates through different departments such as front office, bar, housekeeping, social activities/events: we are looking for Workpackers who are happy to become an active part of this daily life :)

My name is Amelia and I run with my partner a hostel in the beautiful city of Naples.
Our main goal when creating the place was to share HOPE: hope for a better future, hope for sustainable hospitality and slow tourism, as well as to share creativity and the love for our city. Our hostel is the result of the courage of two people who chose to believe in Naples and its magic. Believing in our own dreams can take us to unimaginable places: hope is the engine of life.
In addition to the rooms, we have a bar and a beautiful garden of around 900 square meters where we host events, workshops, yoga classes in different styles and martial arts, a green oasis of peace and well being in the heart of busy Naples, a space for sharing, socializing and giving expression to your creativity.

Activités et horaires

This experience is designed as a mutual exchange. While volunteers support the hostel’s daily operations when needed, we place a strong emphasis on giving space and value to each volunteer’s skills, passions and ideas.
Volunteers are encouraged to actively contribute to the hostel’s social life by sharing what they love and do best. This can include organising and hosting experiences such as workshops, creative or cultural activities, yoga or movement classes, talks, labs or other initiatives that can enrich our daytime activities and the overall guest experience. We truly value personal initiative and creativity, and we aim to create an environment where volunteers feel supported in developing and proposing their own ideas.
Alongside this, and depending on operational needs, volunteers may also be asked to provide support to the hostel’s regular departments, such as social activities support, front office or bar shifts, and occasionally housekeeping.

We ask for 25 hours per week over 5 days with 2 days off, or 28 hours over 4 days a week with 3 days off. These shifts can cover both day shifts (morning between 8 am and 4 pm or and afternoon between 4pm and midnight). Please note that, in rare cases and only if necessary, volunteers might also be asked to cover a night shift. For this reason, we kindly ask all applicants to carefully review the night shift position requirements and make sure they are comfortable with this possibility before applying.

Règles

We offer free accommodation in a private volunteer-only area located inside the hostel, shared with a maximum of four volunteers during your stay. The accommodation includes a private bathroom and a private kitchen, providing a comfortable and independent space exclusively for volunteers, while still being fully immersed in hostel life. In addition, you’ll enjoy an international environment, the opportunity to learn new skills and the chance to actively develop activities based on your interests and abilities.

This is an exchange based on commitment, reliability and mutual respect — balanced with a friendly atmosphere, shared moments and the opportunity to truly be part of our hostel community.

We are looking for responsible, open-minded and proactive people who enjoy working in a team, respect rules and schedules, and feel comfortable in a structured but welcoming environment.
