I haven't words to say thank you so much the organization for everything, thank you for the warm welcome and for the unforgettable farewell. I really hope to see you all next summer and why not, stay longer enjoying this wonderful volunteer social project and continue to have fun and learn this new style of helping people with love and care that I saw in the organization. It was a wonderful experience, and I consider it one of the best times I had in Germany and I'm really thankful to God because that was my last volunteer experience in Germany and I really loved it. kisses to all and love you so much.

Me gustó mucho la experiencia en Pertershof. Todos fueron muy amables, mis agradecimientos especiales al Padre Oliver, Kai, Vipin, Belen, Merv y su equipo. Colaboré en la tienda de ropa y en la cocina. Fue una experiencia tranquila y con sentido social para las personas sin hogar. Me permitió conocer más de Alemania y interesarme más por aprender el idioma. Muchas gracias ❤️

I met several people, got to know a little more about the city (Duisburg). In the rush as I needed to catch a late flight, I couldn't say goodbye to everyone and thank them, but it was a very nice experience. I met Bedia, who from day one made sure I was feeling good, and whatever I needed. Kai also always very helpful. The priest too, Sandra, sister and so many other people. Thank you very much, I hope to be able to come back and visit in another opportunity!

The organization was my first volunteering experience with worldpackers. It could not have been better. I felt very welcomed by the community. The work is not heavy, and the staff and other volunteers are very friendly and helpful. If given the opportunity, I would definitely volunteer again in the organization community. They welcomed us very well, provided us with food, tours, parties and the opportunity to work with refugees and the homeless, which allowed us to have a more humanitarian and social vision, in addition to a lot of diversity. Grade 10!

This was my first experience out of my contry, and everything was absolutely perfect! I have nothing to complain about. Everyone we met was so warm, cheerful, helpy, absolutely good heated people... I was hoping this could be a good experience, but they definetly overcome my expectations. The crew was very communicative, even though those who didn't speak English tried to talk to us someway somehow, and the translator definetly helped us a lot in this trip. I'm so grateful for all this month we spent together, and I hope being able to meet everyone once again !

I totally recommend this experience to everyone. Time flew by so fast! I ended up staying one week more than expected because the organization is a wonderful place. Everyone tried their best to make me feel welcome and comfortable and I truly appreciate that. the organization is like a family and I felt part of it all the time thanks to the amazing team that works there. Oliver is a wonderful host who was always taking care of me and I'm going to miss our conversations and parties :)

It's a beautiful project, but unfortunately I didn't feel safe as a woman and I don't recommend it. I suffered harassment there, but even though the employer was fired, other strange situations happened and when I went to let him know, the Host said that I was looking for trouble there. I really hope these situations can teach him to empathize more with women and not just the homeless or refugees. It is important to listen, talk, welcome people regardless of the situation that is happening. He needs to improve communication alignment, expectations and how to handle extreme situations.
