What an incredible place. Amazing people. Beautiful views. Physically hard work (in a good way). I only stayed for 12 days but I really enjoyed this place. It was my first ever volunteer experience and I had high expectations and this placed topped it! I want to thank everyone at the farm. Everyday there was amazing lunch with all the volunteers and the family. I thought this was a great idea. It made me feel welcome. I do want to mention the best way to get to the farm is by train to Kozina and then hitchhiking. Everyone at the farm hitchhiked and I only had good experiences:)

It was my first volunteering in Europe and Brahnovi was a great place to start with.I enjoyed every time working in the farm and also had the opportunity to meet wonderful volunteers from different parts of the globe.You would develop a strong sense to work as a community once you are in there.Would love to thank the host Metka and Bogdan for their amazing Energy that they can manifest. If you would love working hands-on in farm I would highly recommend this place✌🏼

My first experience as a Worldpackers volunteer was fantastic! Metka is very helpful and contributes a lot to create a good harmony among the volunteers. I stayed for two weeks and I must say that I left with a wonderful group of friends. Highly recommended experience!

It's my first experience and it was very good! Kind people, lovely place, a lot free time to go around. The only thing to improve would be to have an extra bathroom available when there are many volunteers; otherwise excellent experience and recommended !

I had a lovely time at the farm. Metka is a beautiful person and I learnt a lot during my staying. All the people that work here have been kind and made me feel welcome. The job was challenging for me initially as I never worked in farms but Metka supported my needs and requests whenever possible. Would be happy to come back again in the future. I would recommend having a car though as it's tricky to explore Slovenia without it

The location is pretty, with caves and hikes in the local area. The vegetables grown on the farm are fresh and organic. Metka and Yana make delicious lunches. Metka is sincerely committed to the well-being and enjoyment of the volunteers. She does not push volunteers to overtime, take their work for granted, or anything of the sort. She has a great energy about her and is genuinely open to feedback. The locals I met were lovely, laid-back people. I was also fortunate to have lovely co-volunteers. There tends to be around 5-9 other volunteers at any given time. A great experience overall!

My stay here was absolutely amazing. The people are really nice and the food is incredible. The hosts are willing to answer any questions about the work which makes it easier to understand and enjoyable.

The hosts, Metka and Bogden, were welcoming and kind the whole time I was there and were always willing to help if possible. Since they live a bit far from public transport, I recommend arriving with a car. I was able to get rides from the hosts if they were driving down to town. The only negative experience I had was from one of their full time workers that had a short temper with volunteers, but we did not have to work with him often. Overall, I would recommend this experience if you want to get into nature and see parts of the Slovenian countryside!

I had a great time at the farm and I learned a lot about farming. In the morning we worked at the farm, and in the afternoon we had freetime and we could explore the beauty of Slovenia & Istria.

My time on the farm flew by!! I felt right at home since the moment I arrived. Metka and her family are wonderful! The tasks varied daily, but everything was really enjoyable! Metka is an unbelievable cook, lunch time was always highly anticipated! This is a great experience to meet other volunteers as well as locals. Couldn't recommend it enough. Hope to be back one day!!
