My experience was overall good! I volunteered there between November and December. So it was pretty cold, but we had heaps of fun with the other two volunteers (Andre and Nick) that were working there with me.

I had a wonderful time at the Farm. The host was very kind and welcoming, and I could experience many different activities like gardening and cooking. The peaceful nature and warm atmosphere made it an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend it

During the two weeks I spent on the farm, I came to understand the soil where the ingredients for our meals grow and the sweat and effort that go into cultivating them. The conversations and energy I shared with friends from many different countries will stay with me for a long time. It was wonderful to work with Metka, Bogdan, and Gregor, and their children and the two big dogs brought such good energy during my stay. 🌟 And as you said, the sunset view was truly the best!

I had a very good time in the farm. Eventhough it is a very tough work, specially on summer, the schedules and working hours are very much respected and you can really rest after you finish working. The place is very beautiful and wonderful for hiking around. I would put another bathroom for when there is a lot of volunteers and you can get there better with ToyotaGo app :)

I spent 2 wonderful weeks working on the farm with Metka, Bogdan, Gregor and Miha. Schedules are respected, tasks are generally simple to carry out, although some can be quite physical, but when that's the case, it's only for 5 hours at most for us (and a good meal awaits us afterwards!). The farm is quite isolated, so it was ideal for me to rest and do nothing, or go hiking in the surrounding area. The scenery and especially the sunsets are really beautiful! Getting to the surrounding towns is a little more complicated, but can be done on long hikes or by hitchhiking.

Metka, Bogdan and Gregor are super hosts ! Metka cooks delicious meals every day for lunch and it was really appreciated after the halfday of work ! Gregor and Bogdan teached us to plant, harvest and clean vegetables. It was so cool to learn about the process — and I was so happy to eat at lunch or dinner the result of our work ^^ They are truly concerned about your confort and provide food that you can cook in the common kitchen for dinner. Every night I had the luck to watch a beautiful sunset right from the farm. It's was an amazing experience thanks to Metka, Gregor and Bogdan !

My experience was good! You do get to experience what it is like to live and work on a true farm! The kids are amazingly fun and all the animals are very welcoming! It was so cool to harvest and prepare the vegetables for the markets. The town is also so peaceful. During free time you can go on lovely walks into the forest and see the incredible Slovenian sunsets! There has been new changes in the program, so the volunteer experience is led by another volunteer. Receiving food tended to be an issue.. you have vegetables but eggs, bread, cheese, etc. You have to advocate to get. Still recommend

It was nice even though some details were off. Sadly not a lot of food was given. The work was fine. The host was nice,but he sadly didn't speak a lot of English. The nature around is really nice and there's a bunch of caves around.

The work is physical, but nice. Working hours were respected, just not when picking potatoes. Youll have your days off on the weekend, but there's no busses on these days, which is annoying. We didn't talk a lot to the family, but they were nice.

I spent two wonderful weeks on the farm. I really enjoyed the tasks (especially harvesting and cleaning vegetables), and there was a good group energy thanks to Celine! I learned things while being in the greenhouses and fields. I really enjoyed it (as long as it wasn't picking potatoes...). The surrounding nature is very beautiful. I was able to discover caves and hidden spots in the magnificent forest, enjoy the sunsets over the sea... The dormitory isn't very cozy and warm, and the kitchen isn't very pleasant to stay in.
