Working with Monika, Jure, family and friends was incredibly inclusive, respectful and productive. This, while regularly sharing laughs. Their hard working attitude, multitasking many projects in parallel inspired me.

I cannot recommend this volunteering experience enough! We had so much blast on Monika's farm, I don't even know what to pinpoint first! The work was varied and interesting, the working hours were always respected and we still had plenty of time to explore the surroundings. Monika and her family are so kind, respectful, interesting and funny and we were so happy to spend some time with them. Plus, all of the animals are absolute cuties and the nature around the farm is breathtaking. You will definitely not regret coming here, you will only regret not staying longer as we did :)

Um lugar incrível! Natureza exuberante e uma família muito amigável e divertida! O trabalho diário é colher framboesas, e se sobrar tempo fazer controle de ervas, alimentar os animais, regar plantas e preparar lenha. No tempo livre, vc pode nadar no rio em Vojink, visitar o castelo em Celje, caminhar até a igrejinha ou explorar. Sempre que podia, a Monika nos chamava para caminhar com os cães, comer na sua casa, além de nos dar caronas e mostrar a região. Até fomos conhecer uma fazenda mais tradicional e tivemos um café da manhã esloveno maravilhoso! Dormi e comi muito bem todos os dias. :)

Had the best time and loved every bit of my time here. This was my first volunteering experience and honestly I couldn't have asked for a better start. Monika was so personable and really took the time to get to know everyone, making sure we all felt comfortable and had fun. The work itself was easy, varied (so it never felt repetitive), and the hours were really fair with plenty of free time to explore. The surrounding area is beautiful, and Monika and Jure often helped us get around so we could see more of it. I'd definitely recommend this experience to anyone — I'll 100% be back!! 🩵

I loved my time at the farm! Monika and Jure go out of their way to make sure that everyone has a really positive experience. The tasks were enjoyable and always explained clearly to everyone. The area is beautiful and there are lots of walks around. We had plenty of free time and Monika was always willing to offer suggestions on where we should go and often help us get to places. I would absolutely recommend this volunteering experience!

This has been my absolute favourite Worldpackers experience by far! Monika, Jure & Filip are such a lovely family that I felt right at home with. They are so generous with their time and knowledge, which made this experience very memorable. The work is not difficult and the hours are always respected. There are lots of walks in the surrounding area and opportunities to go into the town/city. This farm is so beautiful and peaceful, especially with all the animals running around! I will definitely be back!

Monica is a respectful host, she respects the working hours. The work is was the morning, and I had plenty of time exploring the nearby areas the rest of the day. I recommend this place if you want to learn about the farm farming or the other businesses of the owners.

Monika and Jure and the most wonderful people! My time on the farm was so fulfilling, it is truly a wonderful spot. The hours are always respected and Monika truly cares about each volunteer, wanting to get to know and spend time with them. The whole family truly went above and beyond for us. From the delicious cooking of Monika and her mum, sightseeing in Celje, giving endless suggestions of what to do and giving so much time out of their very busy lives, and of course walks with the dogs. Be on time, clean, responsible and you will love this experience❤️❤️ thank you!

My experience was incredible. Monika was always very kind and did everything she could to make my experience incredible. She's also a great cook. The farm isn't in the city, but she always gave me a ride to the bus stop or train station so I could go sightseeing whenever I wanted. I have no complaints. Everything was incredible, and I highly recommend this experience. If you like animals, this is definitely the place for you. Thank you, Monika, for everything ❤️

This was a really unforgettable volunteering experience🩷! Monika was a great host and very helpful and understanding. She really put effort in to make everyone feel like home and we had great time together with her and the other volunteers 🫶 The farm, animals and the food was amazing, and we also had lots of free time to spend as well. The work was easy and despite the early mornings and sometimes working 5h without a break, I was still happy to help. Would volunteer here again☺️
