We're looking for vibrant, fun and super kind travellers to help keep our hostel clean, run awesome events and hang out with our guests! We are the original Backpackers hostel in Edinburgh, run by travellers for travellers. Come join the team, hang out in our two large common areas, bring some good vibes, use our kitchen and laundry, but most importantly - keep the guests smiling! Looking forward to hearing from you!!

Détails du programme

We really need people who are keen to bring some crazy energy to our events!! You can run events like our weekly Pub Crawl, Ceilidh (Scottish Folk Dancing), Pub Quiz and more! This is a great chance to meet people from all over the world in a welcoming environment. Our lounge, affectionately called the 'Music Room', is always full of travellers from all across the globe, and you can always strike up a conversation to gather some new friends to explore the city with.

In our hostel, you'll be working in our cleaning team initially with the chance to work in our reception team

Gabriela is the manager of the hostel (we like to call her Patrona) and our funky Jay is the right by her side assisting with the running of this fabulous hostel!

Activités et horaires

We expect you to work 14 hours a week. Initially, this will be working between 11am-1pm, 6 days a week doing basic cleaning tasks such as changing beds, cleaning bathrooms, vaccuuming and so on. This is in addition to an extra two hour shift spread at different times throughout the day, used to spotcheck the bathrooms, clean the kitchen, etc.

Soon after, we may ask if you're able to help us in running events or receptin, all of which counts towards the 14 hours you're offering to us for this exchange.
