This is truly a family business, really kind people who welcome you not only into their home but also into their family. I had a wonderful time with Lily, Dusko, and the girls. The tasks are not hard; mostly kitchen work when it's busy, but it's easy to handle. They are flexible and willing to help if you want to do things on your day off. The business is located in a very quiet area, so you can enjoy nature and have time for yourself and your thoughts. Thank you for everything!

If you are looking for cultural immersion this is a great experience! You are provided with an apartment in a small village, and hitch hike to the guest house, which is about 3km away. The village has a market and ATM. The hours are respected and work is fair. The family is lovely and you feel part of their world very quickly. You will be provided with money once per week to buy food. There are nearby trails, caves, natural pools, boat tours on the guest house, and monasteries. There are also opportunities to sell your off days and work extra hours for payment. Thank you for the amazing experiences!!

This family has been nothing short of enchanting. Lilly, Dusko, and the girls are each their own universe—so different, yet all remarkable in their values. They're always making sure you've eaten well, always suggesting new corners to explore—and there's something deeply lovely in that. Wandering the river, discovering its caves, waterfalls, and natural pools—it's all utterly charming and all of it nestled among the ruins of an ancient monastery stretched along the water's edge. it feels nothing less than magical. I'm truly happy to say that rather than ending, my journey with them is starting

The whole family was lovely and especially Lily, she had me as a part of her family from the arrival. The hours were respected and the tasks are not so organized but it will be easier if you consider it's your family and house. Then, you'll find what to be done and of course you can ask if there is anything specific to do, they are always there to help you. You will be surrounded by nature and it's beautiful that I can't imagine during the summertime!

Conhecemos a vaga por indicação de uma amiga e, mesmo sem estarem recebendo voluntários, fomos acolhidos com carinho pela Lili e sua família maravilhosa. Também tivemos o prazer de conhecer o Dusko, um excelente chef. Nossas principais tarefas foram organizar alguns espaços da propriedade. Agradecemos imensamente pela receptividade e esperamos retornar em breve!

The hotel sits on the mountainside with a beautiful view of the water cutting through the valley below. I found the experience to be a great opportunity to rest and recharge, as I was there in September (shoulder season) and there wasn't much going on. It's important to note that the family and business had a lot of challenges going on outside of their control during the month I was there, but I felt communication could've been improved with scheduling and with tasks/responsibilities/expectations during the shifts. Definitely got to know Montenegrin culture and experience the guest house nature!

Minha experiência foi muito especial! Trabalhamos na guest house e moramos em um apartamento na vila. O trabalho foi tranquilo e bem organizado, mas é importante saber que há cerca de 2 km até a guest house e nem sempre havia carona, às vezes íamos a pé. A vila é pequena e os mercados têm poucas opções, mas o ponto positivo é justamente a paz e o contato com a natureza. É um lugar remoto, perfeito para quem busca se reconectar. Também tive a oportunidade de fazer um passeio de barco, que foi incrível. Obrigada Lily, sua família e os outros voluntários pelo acolhimento ❤

I spent a month with Lily, Dusko, and their daughters — a lovely family. Lily is strong and kind, and even made me a surprise cake on my birthday! =D I shared a room with Crista, who became a friend for life. I also met Akchel and her son, lovely people, and some local people. The village is tiny and peaceful, great for nature lovers. Work hours are respected, and you get €30/week for food. the guest house is 2.5 km from the house. Be ready to walk, ask for a ride — and face 40 °C+ heat! A real, simple, challenging and enriching experience!

I really enjoyed my volunteer experience at the guest house🍃Lily and her family were super friendly. The hotel has a stunning view☀️👌🏻Even though I was there for a short time, I had a lot of fun with the other volunteers and made some great friends. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique experience and enjoyment of nature✅
