With our FoodTruck, we want to show you that street food is much more than just fast food. It's about bringing openminded people together, to discover and experience street food in a new way. We expect support around our snack bar including taking orders, serving and cashing up. You should also take care of the drinks stock and wash the dishes. A friendly attitude towards our guests is very important to us.

The month i spent with Robert and Susanne was wonderful. Their company and their concern for me, the house and all the environment, the time in the foodtruck and the all the food they cooked for me made me feel at home. Pico island is also very safe and i got to feel free while wandering around on a rented e-bike. In the host some days are very busy so be prepared to work hard, other days are quiet and slow. I recomend this position for anyone who is organised, willing to help this kind hearted couple and who wants to have a great time in a beautiful portuguese island exploring it or just relaxing.

I had the most wonderful experience with Robert and Susanne! They are so incredibly kind and really make sure you have everything you could need to be comfortable. The accommodations were incredible and the work was very reasonable and very fun. the host is busy but as soon as I got used to everything it was so much fun and amazing to get to know the locals. The food is out of this world and pico is truly such an amazing place. Although, the thing that makes this volunteer very special is Robert and Susanne- some of the most lovely people I've had the pleasure of meeting!

I was pleasantly surprised and totally grateful after this experience. Susanne and Robert were very clear with the tasks from the beginning, they assign you a comfortable and clean outside room/cabin, they expect you to do your best in the work schedules as it is their main source of income and they take care to give 100% so that the food, client and volunteer experience is 5 star. They give good recommendations for tours and visits. The food at home and the host is VERY tasty, the atmosphere at home is very calm and the distances by bike are not long. It is such a lovely place to stay and work :)

My experience here has been so beautiful and I cannot thank Robert and Susanne enough for this!!They will make you feel at home and take care of you as you are their own family. The people you will meet through working here will always be a friendly faces and also help you out should you need anything. Pico itself is a beautiful island and a wonderful place to reconnect with nature !! So work hard and then relax and enjoy every minute for you will have such a good time it will go so fast 🤗🤗🤗

Susanne and Robert are an amazing couple, and this is a truly volunteer. You will receive the best food of your life, and be addicted to the food truck food also haha the house is amazing and you can sleep with the bird's songs, take a shower outside and live in paradise of pico. I highly recommend this position!! 🤍
