For a first time volunteer this was the perfect experience. Not only it's a great community that integrates volunteers in fulfilling work but also promotes togetherness with extra activities. While having such a big group of volunteers at the same time, from different backgrounds and cultures can be challenging at times it can also be an excellent environment to practice ones English and social skills around a very inclusive group of people. We are all there for the same goal so we make connections and work together in a very organic way.

I had the best time at Sammatz! It is a wonderful community, with many interesting areas to work in. For volunteers it is well organised, and a great place to make friends with people from all over the world. Wish I could've stayed longer!

My time in Sammatz was just AMAZING , at first I was scared and couldn't really understand what was the purpose of the community , but in just a few days I completely understood what was the goal and our purpose there! We were able to work in the field , cafe , shop and many many others areas , get to know new people from all over the world and make amazing friendships that will certainly last forever!! Super very welcoming and helpful in every way !!

Incredible experience, everyone welcomed us very well and the community is beautiful. At first you may be surprised by the scale, which changes every day and is released every night, but you soon get used to it. The work there is hard but rewarding, go with an open mind and be prepared to contribute and collaborate with the growth and development of this special place.

Sammatz is an incredible place. We work, learn, and have a lot of fun. The local people are amazing, as are the volunteers with whom we had the joy of sharing our moments. I would like to express special thanks to Anton, our incredible mentor. It was a wonderful experience, and it is definitely a place I would return to. My only reservation is regarding the working day; it is indeed intermittent and can sometimes be tiring, considering our other obligations related to the Blue House.
