My time at the hostel was too short, I wish I stayed longer! The management team is great and I felt like home since day 1. I also did the Acatenango tour with them which was the most AMAZING things I've done in my life. The work was easy and very enjoyable - the people are a bonus! Couldn't recommend more! Thanks Charlie!

El trabajo fue interesante y el equipo muy amable, pero la organización no fue buena. Acepté quedarme 2 semanas más, pero antes de terminar mis 3 semanas iniciales, me pidieron irme por una mala gestión del número de voluntarios. Solo tuve una semana para reorganizarme, sin ayuda. Además, el hostel es muy ruidoso, así que no es ideal si buscas tranquilidad. Una pena, porque con mejor organización, la experiencia habría sido mucho mejor.

Hola! Noemi. Que triste saber que nos has dado una mala calificación cuando hemos cumplido con todo lo acordado. Nosotros ofrecemos la opción de extender el voluntariado siempre y cuando haya espacio disponible, se te ha informado con una semana de anticipación que no se te podía extender y hemos cumplido con las 3 semanas acordadas en Worldpackers. No nos parece justo una calificación baja por un tema personal de que no tenías planes posteriores. Sin más, exitos en tus siguientes experiencias:)

The hostel was a very good place to start my travels and also to be my first volunteer. alonso and charlie such as all the others from the hostel family were very warm welcoming me, showed me around and immediately gave me a feeling of home. if you are extroverted its your place to be. its a lot of party but you can still escape if it gets too much. the tasks are easy and you will learn it by doing . its good if you know some spanish but they are very patient and you can get along with english too . i really enjoyed and already miss them.

I had best time ever in the hostel and it was very hard to leave. As someone said in reviews before it is very hit or miss experience depending on your bonding with other coworkers and I think it takes some time to get close with them but when you do it's great. I also definitely practiced my Spanish a bit. The only downsides I can think of is sleeping in the same dorms as customers of the hostel so you don't have your own space for volunteers and the work itself it's definitely like a proper job which might not be for everyone. Overall I love it and recommend it so much:)

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue perfecta. Des del inicio me sentí acogida y pasé a formar parte de una familia que considero maravillosa. En Antigua puedes encontrar de todo, (sobretodo fiesta ;) ) y gente abierta y con ganas de enseñar-te sus lugares favoritos. Solo tuve la oportunidad de quedarme allí 15 días porqué no tenía más tiempo de viaje pero me habría quedado mucho más sin dudarlo. Si estás buscando un voluntariado donde hacer vínculos definitivamente de recomiendo ir al hostel.
