The hostel is a wonderful place to get in touch with yourself and also the beautiful city of Edinburgh. With only working a couple hours 5 days a week there is plenty of time to see all the sights you want to see. Plus if you don't mind making beds it's a breeze. the hostel staff is welcoming and caring. Ali, Gustavo and Paige really know how to make you feel welcome. Pro tip: know your star sign cause it will be the first question asked. If you love a family type community you'll love the hostel.

This is home away from home. The host makes sure you feel welcomed and communicates everything in advance. The work is not hard (~ 3h/d). I will miss this place and its beautiful people!

Esta ha sido mi primera experiencia haciendo un voluntariado, y sinceramente ha sido increíble en todos los aspectos. Desde el primer momento todos los voluntarios y empleados han hecho sentirme como en casa. Alison es una persona maravillosa y se ha preocupado en todo momento por los voluntarios y su bienestar. El trabajo es sencillo y trabajando en equipo hace que sea todo más ameno y rápido. Tienes mucho tiempo de salir cada día y disfrutar de esta maravillosa ciudad. Todas las personas que he conocido son maravillosas y se han convertido en mi familia durante este viaje. Sin duda repetiré.

If you're looking for a place to volunteer in Edinburgh, just go to the hostel! If you like spontaneous plans, just go to the hostel! They just plan evenings and events depending on the vibe and the guests and to be honest it was so much fun! We as volunteers get to meet people from all over the world and we learn from each other and our cultures! If you're looking for a rewarding experience, this is your place! The schedule is pretty easy, the shifts are pretty easy and you're never gonna feel under pressure! You are just gonna meet your new family, I swear 🥹

The time I spend at the hostel was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. I was able to grow as a person and meet so many interesting, open and lovely people there. Going to the hostel was one of the best choices of my life. Everything that I wanted to live as a volunteer I lived here. Since the beginning, I was very welcomed and they made me feel at home. the hostel is a magical place where all people are connected, each one helping and supporting each other. I made many friends, laughed a lot and lived unforgettable moments. The staff is wonderful and they're always there to help us with everything. Loved this hostel so much I came back to volunteer for a second time! The staff and guests truly turn into your family while volunteering here! Such a great experience. All of the tasks are straightforward and reasonable and leave you with plenty of time to go out and explore the amazing city. Highly recommend!
