Mi primera experiencia como voluntario y fue muy agradable! La hacienda es muy linda y llena de cosas por hacer. Alvaro es muy atento y amable, siempre esta atento de lo que necesites y es una excelente persona. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!

Es una gran experiencia! Todos los trabajadores de la hacienda son amables, te hacen sentir como en casa. La comida personalmente me encantó. Es un voluntariado para trabajar y conectarse con la naturaleza. Los atardeceres son preciosos!

Alvaro es un gran anfitrión, siempre está pendiente de los voluntarios. A la hora de trabajar es muy estricto pero fuera es muy divertido. La hacienda es preciosa, las instalaciones son super cómodas. Vas a tener la posibilidad de compartir con gente local todo el tiempo, aprender de su cultura y estar en contacto directo con la naturaleza. Las personas que hacen parte de the lodge son muy cálidas y te hacen sentir siempre como en casa. La comida es deliciosa y las señoras de la cocina son super amables. Recomiendo está experiencia para salir de la zona de confort y aprender nuevas habilidades.

The place is beautiful, with a lot of animals, good people and amazing rooms where you have every comfort you need. The "scaring thing" is when you realize that it's completely in the middle of nowhere, which means that you can't go out without someone driving you to the nearest bus station. But the host is very available to help you and he lets you living real locals experiences, in locals places that in another way you couldn't discover. Then, I have been so lucky to share everything with two wonderful volunteers. So, like everything, it needed time, but at the end it was worth it!

Mi experiencia en el alojamiento fue fantástica y enriquecedor en muchísimos aspectos. Mi estancia aquí me permitió mejorar mi inglés, conocer a personas de distintas partes del mundo, pueblos cercanos, tener mayor contacto y consciencia con la naturaleza, desarrollar habilidades y mejorar en otras como la comunicación y el trabajo en equipo. Toda la gente del alojamiento es maravillosa! puedo decir que se volvieron una familia para mi, siempre muy amables y me ayudaban en todo lo que estuviera en sus manos. Considero que crecí mucho como persona y por ello lo recomendaría 1000%

Escolhi essa para ser minha primeira experiência no WorldPackers e não podia ter feito escolha melhor! Álvaro e todo o time do eco lodge são excepcionais, com destaque para Lucy, Adama e Sonia, que estiveram comigo todos os dias e me orientaram para todas as tarefas que deviam ser feitas. Vale pontuar que as tarefas respeitam o que diz no anúncio, as acomodações são apropriadas e a comida segue a rotina da fazenda. Para quem for passar mais tempo na fazenda, vale a programação para conhecer Cádiz e outras cidades da região, incrementando sua vivência no local.

I'm glad that I chose this as my first time volunteering experience through Worldpackers because it was such a experience. My favorite thing about the place is the people. Even though most of them don't speak English and I barely speak any Spanish, they are still very kind to me. I also enjoyed being with the cute little kids, they're adorable! I also appreciate the time being away from the city. Overall, I'm grateful for the experience and I highly recommend it.

The people here were definitely the best part of the experience. I appreciate how they all took their time to help me learn Spanish and I learnt a lot! The monitors felt like friends from day one. Thanks to Alvaro for always helping me arrange the logistics of travel on my days off. I got to see Seville, Cadiz, Malaga and Jerez! Keep in mind that it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and you will only really be able to venture out on your days off. I also really appreciate how the chefs would adapt my meals and always had veggie options. I got to experience a lot of Andalusian culture here!

My experience at the lodge was superb and extremely enriching on a human level. I applied for the social media position, but as Alvaro had told me, in the end I only worked as a monitor (which suited me perfectly). I really improved my Spanish thanks to the whole team of monitors and volunteers who became like a family :) The only negative point was the food, as I'm used to eating a balanced diet and the cuisine didn't really suit me. However I highly recommend this experience :)
