My time at the hostelis a time I will think back on fondly. I had an incredible time at this hostel and the other volunteers welcomed me in as soon as I stepped through the door. The other volunteers make the environment of the hostel feel more than a friend group and like a tiny family. But not only this the guests that stop by are always lovely too with story's to share. Nathan and Kerrie hold great management of the hostel and just lovely people in general that make everyone feel welcome from day one. Cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you both. I Would 100% visit again

Kerrie and Nathan were just wonderful. I think they are not aware this is probably the best volunteer job in the world (i've done many). This hostel is a REAL one like back in the days. It has everything : paint, baking stuff, surboard, books, skate, pool table... and more. I had such a wonderful time that i am coming back (everyone wants to come back litteraly...) I hope i will be like kerrie later in life, very inspirational! Thank you for everything 💗

My time at Kieraleagh the hostelwas truly amazing, met wonderful people both volunteers and guests. Nathan a Kerrie are warm and so welcoming:) I stayed longer than agreed and are going back over Christmas because it's a place that feels like home. The location of the hostel is also perfect, so close to supermarkets and beach! Would recommend everyone who wants to connect with people in a smaller town close to Sydney:)

I loved my time at the hostel! The hostel is such a cute hostel and the vibe is very chill. It feels like home. Nathan and Kerrie are super welcoming and the work is fair! I loved that you can take surfboards from the hostel and go surfing everyday and the beach is just 10 minutes away. I met so many amazing people. Thank you for the experience. I would highly recommend it!!

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel. Nathan and Carrie were the best hosts! They make everyone feel so welcome and taken care of. The vibe of this place is so unique and you meet people in all walks of life. This is an easy place to stay at for a long time. I'll always appreciate their warmth and the memories made here! I recommend this experience to every traveler!:)

The hostelreally feels like home. This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't ask for a better start. Kerrie and Nathan always do their best to make you feel at home. They are very flexible, they communicate with you and you can easily communicate with them. Absolutely the most easy-going and the nicest hosts you could ask for. The hostel is very nice itself, 10 min away from the beach, the center and the train station. The job is very easy, most of the time is only a couple of hours in the morning and then you have the entire day free. I would definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved staying at the hosteland would recommend it to any backpacker. The hostel has a super chilled and laid back vibe, it's so pretty and very central in Wollongong. Work is as expected and the dorms are nice. Nathan and Kerrie make sure everyone is having a good time and there's always people doing some activity/going out etc, plus 4 of the cutest dogs ever wandering about. Felt completely at home after only 2 months and will miss it so much!

I highly recommend volunteering here! Everyone was so welcoming and made my first solo trip wayyy easier. I made such good friends here, some I even went on to travel a bit of the east coast with! The work is easy and fair, close walk to the beach, nightlife in the town isn't the greatest. But you can just take the train to Sydney for a night out!

ETHAN was extremely experienced and had a positive attitude and dedication to work, He was very valuable to have as a volunteer at Keiraleagh House. He is a lovely person, calm, considerate person, and very sociable. Always on hand proactively helping wherever he was needed and offering support to ensure that all work was completed to a high standard. He also got on extremely well with the other volunteer. An asset to anyone looking to employ someone responsible, trustworthy and proactive. I wish him the very best always!
