I'm so enthusiastic about the experience that I had in this hostel. Karry and Nathan are the best host, the work is not that heavy and you are always with the others volunteers so you never get bored. More or less there 10-12 volunteers each time so you will always find a new family ready to welcome. In this month I create a lot of precious friendship that I will never forget, I'm so thankful for this experience

Nathan and Kerrie made me feel so welcome from day one. I made incredible connections with people from all over the world and made equally incredible memories. The job is mostly as described, it's about 2hrs of work a day with one day off but they are very flexible. I was able to have a part time job at a cafe to make money while staying here. Wollongong is a truly beautiful place with lots to do and the hostels location is perfect, really close to the beach and shopping centres. Highly recommend this experience to any open minded traveller.

First time travelling and this was the perfect place to start. The work is eazy and short where you can add your own initiatives to make it more rewarding if you want. It is easy work where you can make it as fun as you like inside or out. Outside of the working hours the owners don't really have to do much as there is a general, chill atmosphere where everyone hangs out or does their own thing while respecting others. As soon as you get out of your shell and get used to the people and situation you're in, it will feel like a vacation.

It was a great place for a first time traveler! The host were amazing! They were super friendly, nice, accommodating, and flexible! I would highly recommend! The work was pretty easy and self explanatory, just 2 hours a day, and then you have the rest of the day to enjoy Australia!

This is the second time in one year that I volunteer here and the hostelkeeps been an amazing place to work! The work is chill and the vibe of the hostel is amazing! I totally recomend it :)

It was a really great area and I met some amazing people! I think the hosts could've been a bit more communicative, and the people there were a bit cliquey, but it could've just been the group. Overall had a great time and would recommend.

I am happy that my first volunteer was here. Kerrie and Nathan are great people ♥️ with many interesting and funny stories to share. After daily work (2h) we had a lot free time. There is plenty of attractions in Wollongong and nearby areas. I am lucky because during my stay I met the most amazing girls which opened my eyes and heart to travelling world. I totally recommend this place and this host. This is magic place. Oh! I almost forgot about gorgeous doggies who also leave in hostel and every day “help” with all tasks 🐶🐶🐶🐶

Highly Recommended Hostel. Kerry and Nathan were both very welcoming and made us feel at home. My girlfriend and I stayed for five weeks where we agreed to stay in shared accommodation, however they had a 2 bed free and gave us that which they didn't need to do. They also cooked us dinner a few times, not charging for it, which was much appreciated. Multiple people overstay the agreed work period, and now I can see why! Expect to work 2 hours, 6x per week (1 day off) with a good, social work environment.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. Everyone was so friendly and there were so many other Worldpackers to mix with during the whole stay. The work was really relaxed, flexible and easy and Nathan and Kerry were always around if we needed help. Whilst it does say that you get 2 days off a week, you do only get 1, however, the hours were far shorter than what was advertised and they were happy to accept more days off if requested. The hostel was a great place overall - cleanliness, facilities, location etc. I would really recommend this opportunity.

It was a great place for a first time traveler. Everyone was so nice and the host was very flexible and it is So easy to change your schedule. The work it's self is very easy and can been do pretty fast.
