L'expérience

We are James and Grace. We manage a small guesthouse on the edge of the beautiful Wicklow hills in Ireland.
This is a colorful and funky house with great people passing through and staying over to mainly explore the Wicklow hills and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our place has a great atmosphere and is always homely and welcoming to many guests from all over the world. The households max of 20 guests. You'll help us with daily tasks :)

Aide en cuisine: Aider à préparer, finaliser et servir les repas.

Réception: Aider aux enregistrements, départs et assistance aux clients.

2 jours de congé par semaine

Dortoir de l'équipe: Vous aurez un lit dans une chambre partagée, ce qui signifie que vous partagerez la même chambre avec d'autres personnes.

Petit-déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un petit-déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Déjeuner: Vous avez droit à un déjeuner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Dîner: Vous avez droit à un dîner gratuit, tous les jours de votre séjour.

Laverie Gratuite: Vous pouvez utiliser notre buanderie librement.

Randonnées gratuites: Nous vous emmènerons en excursions et randonnées autour de la ville. Gratuitement !

Transfert: Nous viendrons vous chercher à votre arrivée et vous emmènerons à notre propriété.

Utilisez notre cuisine équipée: N'hésitez pas à utiliser notre cuisine et préparer vos propres délicieux repas.

Détails du programme

We require some help checking in guests in the afternoons, We would like to familiarise our new helper with the local area so that they can give walking advice to guests and general activities in the area.
All just as simple as it seems :)

Furthermore, we provide breakfast and lunch for our guests. We need a hand for general kitchen work, like cutting vegetables and cleaning dishes. Same with breakfast in the morning.

General cleaning after guests leaving the house needs also be done. But as it is a small house, it does not take long to finish it :)

You will also be asked on a rotation basis a couple of times per week to help look after our two adorable miniature ponies Ben and Donald. This would involve mucking out their stable and feeding them.

Its vitally important that volunteers are genuinely happy people and enjoy interacting with other people. A good sense of humour. When working in hospitality the hosts' attitude will set the mood for the day :)
" We are here for a good time not a long time".

Activités et horaires

There are 4 shifts during the day: Breakfast, Cleaning Check-Ins and pony duties. This will be shared on rotation between volunteers and our regular staff.

In your free time you can go on hikes. I am more than happy to bring you to some places you have to see while you're here!
