It was amazing to volunteer at the hostel, I have other experiences of volunteering but without a doubt that this was the best place, they are respectful, they care about our well being, they offer us comfort and attention in whatever we need. I went to volunteer for a fortnight and stayed for more than a month, simply because I felt at home! Thank you very much for everything and congratulations for the organization and education of all your employees, you deserve all the success in the world! I would definitely come back to the hostel

I definitely recommend the volunteering experience in the hostel. The hours are respected and the staff and owners are always doing their best in order to improve our experience. The hostel is very dynamic and with a fantastic atmosphere, such as the city of San Cristóbal. The meals offered are really good as well!

It has been an enormous experience for me to be part of the hostel family for 2 months. The hostel works very well, with many amenities, good treatment, fluid and direct communication. We have provided a house for volunteers, breakfast and dinner included, discounts on tours and activities. I have felt at home at all times. I highly recommend everyone to live this volunteer experience in the hostel. San Cristóbal de las Casas seems to me to be a beautiful place, full of culture and cultural diversity that is super enriching.

I spent 2 weeks volunteering in the hostel and it was a great time. I met a lot of nice international people. I felt like a part of the team because of the very warm people who work there. Everyone speaks English although it was awesome to practice Spanish with locals. After 1 week I asked for changing the schedule because I felt tired because of night shifts and they adjusted it a bit for me. I was glad I had a vegan option for breakfast (tbh not always for dinner). There are plenty of activities at the hostel like salsa classes, live concerts, and temazcal so I'll never gonna be bored.

The hostel was a great experience! the hostel Is really big and sociable where you can make lots of Friends. The free breakfast and dinner everday Is a game changer making the stay so cheap. The only thing i would say is that some shifts are easier than others but if you want to change, the manager is really cool :)

I spent 17 days volunteering in the hostel. I was in charge of serving breakfasts and making beds & cleaning rooms. Every Sunday you receive a schedule so you can plan your days off. Staff is mostly Spanish speaking but it's not a problem if you're not fluent - ladies with whom I worked was so helpful and patient with me. I really enjoyed my stay there and I'm pretty sure I would extend my stay for a couple of weeks but the only reason I didn't do it was weather. All employees and volunteers treat you like a family member since the day you arrive. Thank you all for unforgettable experience!

La experiencia en el hostel ha sido algo muy bueno. El equipo de staff es siempre bueno, a pesar de que todas las semanas vienen y van voluntarios nuevos. Nos hemos sentido acogidos por todos y cada uno de los staff, conectando y estableciendo muy buenas relaciones de amistad. Me lo he pasado genial y si no fuera porque dentro de poco ya vuelvo a mi pais me hubiera quedado un mes más! Lo recomiendo totalmente, aprendes mucho ingles ya que la mayoría de los huespedes son de fuera. Hay muy buena fiesta y muy buen rollo, lo recomiendo!

Overall I have had an incredible 4 weeks volunteering at the hostel! I have met so many amazing people and had a lot of fun along the way. Daniel has done a fantastic job in creating a very sociable, friendly and fun hostel that offers amazing value to customers and volunteers. My role was mostly working on reception and I really enjoyed greeting guests into the hostel and making everyone feel welcome. I felt the work load was fair and the staff was always helpful and friendly towards me. Thank you the hostel its been a blast!!
