I'm so happy for choosing the hostel as my first hostel/WorldPackers experience! I've made life long friends, traveled to neighboring cities, and learned new languages all while having an amazing time. The work is ok, it usually ends around 3pm and then you have the whole rest of the day to explore or relax in there seating area while reading a book. There's a movie theater, pool table, chess table, board games and card games, and a seating area outside.

I stayed at the hostel for one month and had a great experience! I got to know the hostel very well and made so many international friends, both volunteers and guests. While the work isn't easy, the management team and other volunteers are always available to help you and answer any questions you may have. I'm so grateful for everyone I met, the memories I've made, and what I learned through this experience. I would recommend the hostel to anyone considering volunteering in a hostel environment!

I am very happy that I chose the hostel as my first experience with worldpackers. I can't even begin to describe how amazing my time here has been. The staff, as well as the other volunteers have been extremely welcoming from day one and I feel like I made lifelong friends while staying here. The work can be hard at times but we all help each other out. It feels like a big family and I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone. the hostel is right in the hostel center and there is always something going on, even if it's just drinking a beer at the hostel with the others.

This was my first experience as a volunteer, and it was really great! The hosts Jan and Helen are super nice, the hostel facilities are very comfortable and the tasks to be carried out are easy and somewhat flexible. The work team was the best! all super cool :D

Actually the best experience i've ever had in life, as I told them. Awesome place and people. The work is as described and there is lot of time to enjoy the experience with the other volonteers! Definitely to do👍🏻

This is absolutely wonderful place for volunteers, both of starters and anyone that wants to improve oneself. The owners are super professional in management of the hostel and it's staffs, with very high standard. At the same time, they are so respectful and kind to the staffs. I felt being truly welcome and being part of the family. You will learn a lot here and get inspiration, especially, from the incredibly energetic and enthusiastic land lady. Apart from that, this is good place to make friends and get along with many other international travelers. There are always 8~10 staffs.

The hostel really is a place where practically anyone can fit in. There's no shortage of wonderful people coming through and while the work isn't easy, it's never too hard. :) And all the amazing art really just creates this atmosphere of culture and creativity that is unmatchable and really is an honour to work under

I enjoyed my time here and I'm still actually enjoying it! This place helped me to open up myself, to make new friendships and to start to build a new life here in the Netherlands. The work it's okay, it's quite heavy some days but you just have to get used to it. In the hostel everyone is really kind and nice, all the staffs help you to feel comfortable and to feel just like at home. It's the right place if you want to practice different languages because you can meet people from all around the world.

I loved the volunteers always willing to help others and super friendly 🙊,but honestly the work is VERY HARD , they do not mention that we also had to clean the hotel that is next to the hostel, the empathy in my short stay barely existed ,and I'm writing this because of 3 experiences that I had with other people who work here and a lady who was the manager , put pressure on me to be quicker when I had to clean, my back was super sore once when I was working and this girl told me that it was really unnaceptable to clean that slow knowing that this is a VOLUNTEERING, not a JOB
