Very good experience. The hostel is very nice, the work in general is three hours a day, depending on the occupation. All the staff is very kind and attentive. It is comfortable, it has a large kitchen and you have quality food such as legumes and rice or other cereals to be able to make a good meal. I want to highlight that Arthur was very attentive to me because I have a vegan diet and he supplied, for example, vegetable milk that was not available before. It was my first volunteering experience, so I was a little anxious, but the team welcomed me better than I expected. The work isn't difficult; when there are a lot of volunteers, we finish early, so it's about 3 or 4 hours per day, and after that, you're free to do whatever you want. We have a room just for the volunteers, which I liked because I felt more comfortable and had more privacy. The hostel provides free breakfast and they provide food for us, but we need to cook. I managed to improve my English and my Spanish too.

I'm very glad to have stayed here before going back to the real world lol. I've met some great people whom I can call mis amigos. I am grateful that they helped to keep our room clean and for cooking meals from their respective countries (Brazilian, Mexican, Spanish). Arthur & Misi & Yani are nice people so don't be afraid to ask if you have any problems or need a new chair. The work was alright most of the time when there are many people on the shift. But it can be very tiring when shorthanded. With the right people, this experience can be fun and memorable :-) Buena suerte ~

Esta fue mi primera experiencia de voluntariado y no puedo haberme ido más contento. Me adapté muy rápido gracias a la actitud positiva que se mantiene continuamente en el hostel. Buscaba una experiencia que compartir en grupo y se cumplieron todas mis expectativas. Gracias Carrie, Nicky, Naina y Antonio por ser mi familia este tiempo. El trabajo normalmente se acaba en 2 o 3 horas y a mi no me pareció muy exigente. Sin duda lo recomiendo.

I loved the experience, a safe place full of young people who share their daily life. I practiced my English, the hotel is in the center of the city and there are several places and buses to go out and explore. A good place if you want to learn English, get to know the hostel and spend a few days as a backpacker. Many thanks to the whole group and my companions, I love you very much. Thank you for the opportunity.

I had such a lovely time at BCB. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable as soon as I arrived. Volunteer/work hours are 11-2, and some days you end early. Arthur and Misi always had great recommendations for things to do and places to go visit on days off. They are the best, I very much enjoyed my conversations with them and other guests at the hostel. I also lucked out with a great group of volunteers. Thank you for a great experience! <3

This has been my first volunteer and it has exceeded my expectations along with worldpackers. The tasks are really easy and you have to spend 3 hours per day. Owners always kind and helpful. Arthur, the manager, amazing, always available to listened and help with all questions and task, and good feedbacks. Locations is very good in a graffitti art neighborhood. At first impressions looks "unsafe" but it is one of the best in the city; a lot of clubs, people, restaurants and instagram's spots City Centre and trains and bus statios go walking. I made friends. One of the best experiences of my life. I had the opportunity to spend a few months in this hostel and I couldn't have chosen better. Easy work, the hostel is very near the city center. Very grateful to the amazing staff and owners that always offered me help and were so kind to me. I miss you a lot bcb team❤️

If you're interested to go to the hostel, you will like this hostel. Good food for breakfast and lunch. Everything is new, so It's good and always looks really clean. Good kitchen with good itens if you want to cook something different during the day. You'll meet Arthur, who's an awesome guy and will try his best to make you feel happy there. The owners are awesome people, same to receptionists like Lisa, Visha... All of you. And I wish you have the same lucky I did with the Staff team; miss u Cacá, Vituxo, Alice... you all ❤️ The city is cool if you like Pubs and a night life you might like.
