Volunteering at this hostel in the hostel was an amazing experience. The staff was welcoming, organized, and made me feel like part of the team from day one. The work was fair and well explained, and the atmosphere was social, positive, and respectful. I met people from all over the world, learned a lot, and made great memories both inside and outside the hostel. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to volunteer in the hostel and be part of a true community.

I absolutely loved my time at St the hostel. I came here as I guest last year and fell in love with the hostel and knew it would an amazing volunteer experience and it was. Luiza is so welcoming, organised and fun! She made the whole experience really easy for me and she created an amazing vibe between everyone. I really loved working with all the staff, particularly on the bar where I learned new skills and was able to be super social. I would 100% recommend this volunteer experience.

The hostel was a wonderful place to experience the heart of the hostel. I learned a lot about how a high-traffic hostel works, full of adventures and people from all around the world. The entire team was amazing — they treated me incredibly well, taught me so much, and brought out the best in each one of us volunteers. It was five weeks filled with gratitude, emotions, and joy. Thank you to everyone for the time, dedication, and support you gave me during my stay. I fully recommend this experience.

This was my first volunteering experience, and honestly, I couldn't have chosen a better place. From the very beginning you feel at home, the team is supportive, helpful, and always there for you. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The work is simple and fun, I especially loved the bar shifts, where I learned a lot and met amazing people from all around the world. My time at the hostel was something I will always keep close to my heart. The group of volunteers I met there made every day special. I'm really grateful to Luiza and the whole team for making my stay truly unforgettable.

At the start Luiza (the manager) told me that the experience will be live changing… and it was!! The tasks are various, you will do all kinds of work during your stay. The employees are very helpful and showing you everything you need especially the bar. SJ is always full of travelers so you definitely will socialise. Luiza is well organized and will help you with everything you need. After two months now everything feels like family. I really have great friendships with the workers and also the volunteers. Unfortunately I cant write more.But Im super thankful for everything that happened!:)

No words can describe the heartwarming experiences I had at the hostel. This was my home for 2 months and I couldn't have chosen a better place to do my first volunteering. I felt welcomed by every staff member, the shifts were always respected and I had a lot of time to explore the city and connect with the other volunteers. Special thanks to Adrian and Gui, who made the bar shifts so fun and unforgettable! I'm so happy to know I have a family in the hostel.

This was my first solo trip abroad, and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The hostel's location is wonderful, with large shared spaces and a private area for volunteers where you can have some privacy. The bar is definitely a highlight, a place to hang out, work, and have fun. Work shifts are communicated weekly and vary from cleaning to working at the bar to socializing with guests. The staff was welcoming from the very beginning, and I was lucky enough to bond with the other volunteers, building friendships that made the experience even more meaningful!!

El hostel es un hostel hermoso y con muy buena ubicación. Toda la gente que trabaja ahí son muy amigables y se respira muy linda energía. Las tareas de voluntariado son muy claras y siempre se respetaron y el desayuno también es bastante abundante.
